Will be putting number plate on retention shortly as the car is up for sale.

Seeing if there is any genuine interest for registration.

As you will appreciate plates like this dont come around very often.

Ive owned it for 10 years after narrowly missing out at auction for SUP 12A which is now owned by Christian on here.

I've tried alternative numbers to no avail and even to this day anything that resembles supra is not available.

This has to be the best plate available currently.

So if you think this will be the ultimate plate for your ultimate supra pm me.

Currently on pistonheads for £3450

But for members on here £3000 to inc all fees.

Might seem a bit pricey but whats out there that compares??

Nothing.... and hasnt been for a number of years.

Number plate showing correct legal spacing & still clearly showes SUPRA

This is a really good plate but have you had the plate valued at that price or is it just what you think it is worth? ;)

i know what i paid 10yrs ago,and with appreication, over the yrs.and nothing like this reg before & currently available,so what price would you put on,the ultimate plate for A SUPRA ??? just to give you an idea back in 2001 -SUP 12A was sold @ auction to a dealer for £1750 +fee's [i know because he was meant to be acting on behalf of me,but kept it for him self]& sold on to christian on here,my guess 3k+. i wonder what thats worth now, again you would have to put a descreat bolt in place.

It's worth what people will pay. A Supra forum is probably your best bet at getting rid of it. If it's not gone in 6 months then £3k is too high, simple as that really :)

i agree .like most things in this world,if you got the money & you want the best, you'll buy it.hense why i bought it,at the time i had the forsight to realize what a good plate this would be in yrs to come, and it completed my supras,in the past &present

as they say.THERE'S AN ASS FOR EVERY SEAT. the supra & plate are for sale,i like to think there both unique,i have no intention of letting either go cheap, but would be more than happy to be reasonably flexible, providing i was dealing with somebody genuine about either sale. on the other hand, i'm in no hurry to sell, as they sit coverd up in the garage, eating no meat

if what he is saying is tru about that other plate that went for 1700 then i think this one is worth 3k, as that other plate is nothing like this one!

i take back what i said before as i didnt really look into the value of plates simular (my apologies), if i had the money i would have this plate, nice finishing touch to a car thats had a lot of work done

think at the moment its hard to sell any thing like his, im struggling to sell a plate for 200 quid let alone 3k!

good luck tho

It's true the other plate sold for £1750, this one however sold in late 2003 for £700. I enquired about this plate from DVLA a few years back after originally enquiring about N511 PRA which was never registered. Was told 12-18 months before it goes to auction... still waiting :(

well i guess you know more than me!! since it was me that requested A 511 PRA ,to be released byDVLA. as there was no other decent plates available, &DVLA stated it could take up to 6-12 months to be made available,& late 2001 i was asked would i agree to pay the reserve price of £700.so as to get it to auction, which i agreed to.once at auction this plate was open to every one ,not just me, so all though i done all the leg work getting it to auction it was'nt a done deal.and i can asure you, with other people bidding it worked out a lot more than £ 700. and you also have auction fees & vat on top,so to be presise after owning for 8+ yrs + appriciation, i think its a fair price.:D ps. sup12a @ auction =£1750 +fees to a dealer, who puts his bit on ,then re-sells. so why should'nt i .when & how much i paid all though's yrs ago, should'nt make any difference.if some one takes a shine to the reg & wants it ,that to me is all that matters .

Was only going by the info DVLA gave me, i just took a look on the website and they still only have a sold price of 700 listed. You might want to get them to update that since anyone can go on there and use the service.

I hope the one I asked about never appears in the auction now, no way i would pay for it just to be open to bidding :O

you don't have to pay the reserve price up front,it's a security that when it comes to auction if no one bids, then they know your going to pay the reserve + auction fee+vat,oh and you have to register with the dvla auction ie. pay for the book- let which then intitles you to bid at auction for the revelant plate.
