heckler
bugger, my halfords battery has just died on me... Jump start the car, 13.6v no probs, go for a drive, no probs. turn off the engine and goes to 12.1v (not a prob) then in the space of a minute, drops to approx 9v and remains there. Dead cell me thinks. So, if you see a chap going around japfest looking for a jump-start, thats me! Its was only 11 months old!

Axle
They are quite good i find. My car regularly sits for 4 weeks or more on end and it has always started first time without an issue. Was quite impressed it sat for 7 weeks once and started up first time, albeit with abit of a struggle. Dnk
I found Halfords to be very exspensive regards the battery £85 off Halfords and £44 off my local Toyota dealer
pistonbroke
I found Halfords to be very exspensive regards the battery £85 off Halfords and £44 off my local Toyota dealer That's all well and good if you have the big post UK battery. Us J-specs have to either mod the loom, or buy a battery with posts small enough to fit. I have a small post halfrauds jobby in at the moment. Works fine, it's only been on their about a month though and I've driven the car once in that time. I'll let you know how it's holding up in a few months time
