ClaireRZ-S
Taken from another site >>>>>>>>>>Not my words -- ''I'm posting this thread up for a good friend of mine who wants to make everyone else aware -DON'T GIVE YOUR CAR TO ANYONE! Bobby Big Pockets on this site gave his Mark II Chaser to a certain website for the MM Show in Dublin a few weeks back, they appointed somebody to drive the car up & down but when the car was being returned on the monday the Chaser was written off! The deal was that he gave them the car & that it would be returned to him the way he gave it to them or if anything happened it would be paid for! The guy who was driving it said he had transferred insurance onto it but he actually didn't! Now bobby is left 15 grand down & none of these people on that website or the guy who are driving are willing to pay for it! The reason I'm posting tis here is I wouldn't like to see this happen to anyone after seeing what Bobby is going through & the responses we have got from that website is horrible! I know for definate this would never have happened with mnc! This is the abuse we have got from the sites members on bebo!'' http://www.bebo.com/PhotoAlbumBig.js...Id=10576030693
tony tt
Cant get the link to work but thats a terrible story. If it was me i wouldnt have given my car to anyone to drive it to a show and back. Why didn't he drive it himself?

ClaireRZ-S
He couldn't go to the show or something. I'd be the same i'd never give my car to someone but its terrible alright that it wasn't even properly insured. He's 15 grand down as the guy that crashed it won't give him anything. If my car was going to a show i would want to be standing right next to it beside the hot girl that was appointed to pose beside it!

Does he know where he lives i wouldnt be long relieving him of 15 grands worth of his. Where would he stand legaly on this surely he has emails of conversations from the website assuring him of a safe return of his car? Court? what a muppet! Matt H
Wow, that's dumb. Surely a trip to a solictor and job through the courts will sort him out. At the end of the day, there's a contract between the two parties that if anything happens then this website thing will pay for it or whoever. job done.. take him to the cleaners. n boost
Without sounding cruel, serves him right and an important lesson learnt. I would not give my pride and joy to anyone to drive without me being their myself and have had same story's within mates in the past. Me personally, if u want the car leave 15 G's in cash and take it!
Guest Rays the roof
What an idiot not checking the drivers insurance cover. Like hiring a van, not checking tyres, skidding into a bus stop full of French people, (or German or Swiss, but not Italian or Indonesian),and saying "I should have checked".
