:D LMAO :D Great reply. Was only thinking the other day, Jesus Tee from China posts a hell of a lot of stuff on this forum, really random stuff as well. This has to be a favourite of mine :rolleyes: :search:

 

Was the Supra based on the e-type Jag though? After all, it's wheels are EXACTLY the same kind of round.

 

Yes they did - for the 550/575/599.

 

They have a *mint* condition Supra in the factory at Maranello and each time they design a new front engined GT/Supercar they refer back to the bible that is this Supra for inspiration and guidance.FFS...

 

OK you lot of p**s takers it was just a though - isn't that what this forum is about sharing views and thoughts with like minded people? seems I was wrong and maybe I'll keep these little gems to myself from now on:eyebrows::tongue:

Frank Spencer based his act on a funny man who used to work on the till in Marks & Spencer.

 

Marks & Spencer was based on the idea that goods could be sold to middle class women, if all their cashiers had really good haircuts.
