Try sleeping under the ba****d thing when it goes off :( grrrrr

It if was firing, that meant it was tracking a projectile that was coming down on to your location - The 'P' is a ground area protection weapon only and it does not engage 'tracks' that are not falling witin its designated ground template.

You were a lucky man;)

Merlins lincolnshire??? WTF? Well I'll say a cool calm welcome to the fray about 5 years after the rest of JHC went in. I remember being in Basra the first week we took it. Clearing a room that a sniper was spread across by a 50mm cannon was "interesting" Glad to see the work we civvies are putting in at BD is paying off on the merlin fleet. Must say the cockpit on that animal is far better an environment than our chinooks, but when push comes to shove we can lift more, carry more, do more, fly faster, and land in almost the same space as you guys. We also aren't afraid of breaking bits :D

the phalanx wasnt in my lots good books fr a wile because all the rumours wur about that it only took the fuze or charge or ignition of the 122mm rocket and off course, the nasty bit landed right in the tent with the boys, bad day for my corps that.

stay safe bud.

Its not that intelligent mate, it just chucks up a wall of lead as fast as poss in the hope of hitting it. It wasnt designed to take out small rockets though, more large missiles.

yeah i know that buddy, i was just saying that it wasnt in our good gaces.

just have a good tour buddy.
