Luka-P
Right Guys, I know there are some fantastic blokes on here who can work wonders with a spray gun. I'm after someone who can do my Supra for me. Its currently stripped and being prepped ready for paint. I'll try and do as much myself as I can, but obviously a pro's eye is going to be better than mine! The colour I'm going for is Yamaha R1 blue or possibly a solid equivalent. I would like the whole car doing bar the engine bay. Some of you are quite far from me but I can put the car on a truck and get it delivered. I'd be happier doing that than sending it to someone who isn't as good but is closer. So, anyone willing to have a go? Some quotes via PM please or anything I may find useful on here please. I can supply paint/materials if needs be. Thanks very much chaps. Luke. Pig
Are you aware you will need the car to be painted in an oven? Jon
Tricky-Ricky
2K paint will dry perfectly well without an oven, just takes a little longer 24-36 hours before its fully hard, but handleable in 2-3 hours. Luka-P
Yes I did imagine it would need to be done in an oven. Either way I'm just trying to find someone to do it for me.

SUPRALOOPY
Contact Simon Baldy on here if you want a perfect Job And the rest of us are just muppets who brush the paint on with a 4" brush:D Baldy is deffo your man for this type of thing, but I don't think he will like going over someone else's prep work, I know I would not like to unless agreed that any probs after could be down to prep and not top coat. Fair point, for a perfect job then you'll have to let the person dictate what prep work is done, and then probably re-do at least some of it as they are the experts after all I once prepped my van for a mate to spray..... well I thought I had prepped it, until dead spiders started blowing out of gaps in the roof panels. Hence why I had some interesting bonnet mascots

Luka-P
That's fair enough. I suppose I could do little bits but, as said before, my prep won't be close to a pro's. Thought I'd save on some work

The reason for the over would be for painting rather than the drying.
