SUPRA GUY Posted February 26, 2009 Share Posted February 26, 2009 Hi i was driving my supra when the oil light came on and when i checked the dipstick there was very little oil on the marker. I only had the car serviced a few months ago so im not sure where or why its gone.....does anyone on here know anything that might be of help? SUPRA GUY Posted February 26, 2009 Author Share Posted February 26, 2009 i checked the oil when it was cold and there was hardly anything in it....i get the car serviced every 6 months or so and i dont use it very much...must have only done maybe 1000 or 2000 miles i think....its a second car.... When you say 'hardly anything in it' was there actually hardly anything in it or was it just at the bottom of the level on the dipstick? sypher_44 Posted February 28, 2009 Share Posted February 28, 2009 in my supra instruktion manual it says that the car can use up to 1 liter oil to 1000km... if it consumes more oil than that it should be taken the nearest toyota repair shop.. why does the book say this? to protend that shot valve seals is ok??!
