Who's played the new Brothers in arms?

Just picked this up yesterday. Haven't played any of the previous games in the series, but it's really addictive. Best shooter i've played since call of duty 4.

Not as visually amazing as COD. If you've seen band of brothers it reminds me allot of that, in terms of the dialogue and characters.

I'm just romping through it too, great game, achievements seem to pop up every 10 secs which is nice. I'm really enjoying it, i really liked medal of honor airborne on the 360 too, and you can pick that up for a song, great set pieces in that, nothing like parachuting onto a german flaktower, that was a nice new addition to any ww2 game :)

yeah i have airbourne to, on pc tho, ive spend a few quid on my pc over the years so like to get them for the pc, much cheaper as well, £24 brand new delivered hells highways cost me, but saying that you need like £800+ worth of pc and graphics to run these sort of games well. i like the control that a mouse and keyboard offer.

I just got it last night.

Great so far. Rebuilt my pc spec only last week ready for it and the latest games.

Running a Quad Core processor, 4 gig ram, GTX260 OC & a new Samsung 22" monitor.

Everything runs sweet at 1600res with everything on high.

Really does make PC game playing so much better.

I prefer this game to Crysis to be honest. Just seems more involving.

Not a bad game at all - can't seem to skip throught the cut scenes though and there are too many. Has reminded me how good the TV series was though so I've just bought it - 17.99 delivered on play.com if anyone is interested.

nice spec mate, mine an older spec but still runs anything i can throw at it. mines an amd 4800+ dual core, 4gig ddr2, asus sli mainboard, and running an xfx 8800ultra(upgraded from 7800gtx sli).

this is what i want to build tho

It indeed is a nice system but a complete rip off in my opinion.

My system spec including the 22" monitor would set you back no more than £750 and you will play everything at max res with no issues and thats before I clock both the processor and graphics card. If you really want to go overkill, buy the GTX280, even that only ups the price by about £50.

I always build my own PC's and to a good gaming spec and it really is worth while. I always get a good 2 years out of my specs before I need to start looking for upgrades.

For the price of that one box I could upgrade for the next 10 years.

i also have built my own pcs for the last few years, yes that price is silly, but ive worked out i can build a similar skulltrial system for around £1700 using my graphics and ive got a brandnew spare 1000w akasa psu lying about. but yes i know what you mean theres no need for a pc with that sort of overkill really, as long as you have good ram 2-4gig, a quadcore or even a good dualcore with decent graphics, at least an 8800gtx/ultra dx10 card you are laughing. i just finished that hells highway, excellent game. that ati 4870x2 seems like great bang for your buck tho.
