As Michael said, running a TT or an NA will typically set you back a similar amount, unless you run into turbo-related issues :)

 

A Supra is a fat waster of a car - mine was over 1600kg when I had it on a weighbridge (it is a UK car though, so a J-spec should be lighter, but not massively), so 0-60 is never going to be a huge strong point, especially with new hot hatches claiming similar 0-60 times as the NA. Hell, a diesel Astra pulled about a car length on me recently from a standing start!

 

If you think there's even a chance you may get the itch for more power, just get a TT and respect it for the first few months :)

i owned my n/a for 7weeks..... did as you are doing, thought 220bhp would be lively enough but it struggled against my girlfriends 1.7 puma. not sure if there was something wrong with it or if it was just sh*t

 

Get a Puma.
