I do believe they aren't too reliable if you don't treat them with kid gloves. I don't have a better suggestion though, mine is probably more fragile but it's a PDA. So I sort of accidentally lost it, and got the N95 8GB as a replacement... It started resetting by itself and then wouldn't turn on at all - its done that twice now - I'm using an old Sony one until I get it replaced.
