Hummer H3

It's been on my mind for a while whether to sell the supe. It's just not that practical for my needs as my other car's a two seater to.

I love the supe, it's still a great looking car and if I had the money I would def keep it as I've spent a fare whack on it and still have to before I sell. :(

The thing is I went to look at the Hummer H3 the other day. I was quite supprised with the yanky monster. You get a fare bit standard on it, not like the Audi option list. It's alot of car for £26000.

I really liked it, and you wont see that many on the road, and it's on pare with the supe for mpg as well:taped:

So time to get saving and time to get the body work on my supe done in time for Summer;)

I like them and id have one if i could afford to have something fast aswell, i just think i get bored of it quick.:)

I think it's got to be done Jamie;)

I do a fare bit windsurfing to, so I have to take the old van down to Poole which is a bugger.

If you're after a pimp mobile why not look at the Chrysler 300c? A lot of car for the money and there is an estate version so you could whack your boards in (probably).

As for tax, it is hitting 4x4s now? I thought it was emmissions based and although typically 4x4s are the worst, sports cars are being hit just as hard (mine is going up to 400 odd next year apparantly).

Love hummers, look like tonka toys, i've driven a H2 stateside and that was fully loaded top quality leather, heated seats front n back etc, think its way too big for UK roads though, sounded nice too, i could probably out run it on a push bike :) H3 probably would be great to drive bit more nimble & frugal

We hired one for two weeks in the States last year - great car, loved it to pieces. The only thing I would say is that the space in the boot is rubbish considering the cars size

Here's a picture of Murphy the H3 :)

You liked the drive then :) Good to hear of someone driving it for two weeks and still loving it. I did think the boot was a tad small and the huge door was hinged on the side so if someone parks close, you're buggerd

But strangley still not put of at all. It's not going to be fast with a 3.7L five cylinder but I'm not that bothered I didn't want it for speed:)

I did, it cruised beautifully and unlike some American SUVs I've drived there was no wallow concerns either and was very comfy for driving long distances.

I wouldn't worry about parking though, no one will be stupid enough to park next to something that big!!!

Looking at Q7's S-line at the moment, the 4.5tdi is a monster and has plenty of grunt with lots of luxury, out of all the cars I've had I miss my X5 the most - theres something about having all that space and being high up :D

Of course the supe was awesome for its own reasons too
