Black man in the white house

I have no reason at all in thinking this, And it does not affect me one bit, But I would love to see Barack Obama win, It would be a first for a start. It would be interesting to see if things change over there. I am not trying to get in a massive political discussion but maybe things may change for the better for them.

I'm not qualified to say this, but I fear for him. His personal safety diminishes as his popularity grows in my opinion. I dont think America as a whole is ready for him.

Very very good point. Theres always some nutter with a gun in the crowds that doesent like "Them thar colored's"

I know very little about any of the parties or people to be honest but:

Yeah it will sort the mess out over there.

I don't know where or how you draw that conclusion? Just because he is black it doesn't give him super powers :)

Love his attitude to stupid things like people making claims left right and centre about stupid things

Ironic isn't it when you consider that he is a solicitor who made his money on such things and he started his legal career working for the local mafia boss.

Is it like that in America nowadays? The areas I have been to are quite liberal in relation to colour or creed.

So many pointless tragic episodes over there, there will be someone who does not rejoice and welcome, but hate and resent. He comes across as a really nice guy, intelligent and wordly too. That makes him extremely brave in my book.

I think there is still alot of it over there. Remember, This will be the first black President ever, Someone is bound to have a pop.

much better than a woman in charge, can you imagine Hillary Clinton with P.M.T AND her finger on the big red button (no pun intended)

apparently if Ms Clinton gets into the whitehouse she is shaving her privates and wearing a t-shirt stating "read my lips, no more Bush":d

well thats the rumour anyway (i can see this post in the NWS department (sorry)
