Suprash Posted January 31, 2008 Share Posted January 31, 2008 God Im cr@p at searching for holidays and breaks away......so would appreciate some advice or suggestions from all you globe trotters out there.....trouble is I just dont know places or whats out there/where to go ? Would like to do a long weekend/short break (4 days, Fri - Mon) somewhere for two, warmer climates definitely required, she dont do cold, beach type break away.... Doesnt have to be super fancy, were bother simple folk and would much prefer the lazy break, maybe with some surroundings to amuse yourself of a evening, and some scenery to go exploring in through the day Cant break the bank, might possibly be able to stretch to 1k all in, and I mean all in, but would ideally like to shave a few hundred of that if possible...... Suggestions on a postcard from said destination would be great, failing that just type them below or maybe someone knows of some good sites to have a browse of ? as I just got lost in google for half hour Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Havard Posted January 31, 2008 Share Posted January 31, 2008 This time of year I would go to Egypt. Great weather, not too long a flight and quite cheap too! DO NOT GO TO TUNISIA.... We were promised some Winter sun a couple of years ago and it was terrible. Never got above 13 degrees and was really windy. There was also fook all to do at night too! Er.....I can't really think of any decent beach holidays this time of year (within 2/3 hours flight of the UK).
