Very nice Wez - nice one.

I intend to go for a 272I/264E combo once I've got my single installed (not on the cards just yet though).

It has to be timed perfectly and the timing on the exhaust cam is crucial too or else you will probably just see losses pretty much everywhere on the torque curve. I've seen real world proof on the 3SGTE motor and the theory holds for the 2JZ as well, obviously.

I'd put 100 quid on a dead or dying rear shock, it felt hoppy last time I drove it. You now have so much real torque you need to address hooking it up properly :)

I think, given a small exhaust housing like yours the staggered cams with added intake duration and mild exhaust duration will give yo more top end with little low end penalty. Too much exhaust duration with that size turbo will just give reversion.

Chris,

I need to speak to you about building me a new engine for the summer.... Will email you...

I know its difficult to answer but roughly what low end penalty for roughly what top end gains, what about mid range?

The AEM really suprised me as most controllers never really perform the same on the road as they do on the dyno, it must be to do with the amount load on the engine.

The AEM was pretty much spot on and hitting the desired targets.
