Thanks for the info chap. It should help others (including me) with the same problem.

No probs, mines beginning to p me off now as ive done bloody everything other than fit a new waterpump which i think is fine but wonder if it can be flow tested some how ?

Its been at a specialist here in B'ham who said they couldnt find anything wrong with it ?

Ibrar found the heater ecu was playing up in about 10 mins of checking which cured the fan cutting in and out but ive still got the high fan speed cooler air issue.

The inlet is def much hotter than the outlet on the matrix so im going to remove my bleed valve incase its causing a restriction but wont hold my breath.

This seems a realy big problem and a severe pain in the rear!

Can't believe that non of the usual techniques to bleeding a system work at all.

As I've said before to you H, you can always try the drainage valve at the bottom of the rad providing its there which I'm sure they all have although could just be TT :search:

There's been times with severe airlocks on my mates system and we tried the valve to let a lil air out, next minute we had a eruption out of the top of the rad. Seemed to be ok after bleeding and pressurising the system with his rad kit thing, cept water pump was naffed so changed that and all was well. Not sayin your pumped buggered but I could ask whether I could borrow it from him if you wanted to try it?

Fitted my little T piece thingy today!

I will post up another thread with a guide to what I did. The heaters are as hot as they ever have been in this car but I feel they may not be at their full potential. I wonder if they were ever that good when the car was new 12 years ago? I wanted to feel other peoples heaters to compare. A flush of the heater matrix may be next but I am quite happy with the heaters at the moment!

I have found that the quicker the fan speed, the lower the temp output. Having the heater dial at 30 on the fan on full puts out a similar heat to 25 on the dial and the fan on low!!
