  1. The fto forum are meeting on the 25th Sep at the wharf at cross ways: http://www.shepherd-neame.co.uk/pubs/pubs.php/wharf_dartford It's only a short distance to the tunnels and is quite a nice place. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&saddr=&daddr=&hl=en&geocode=&mra=mr&ie=UTF8&ll=51.453011,0.254137&spn=0.000998,0.001886&t=h&z=19
  2. yeah, true. Although, can't you keep the standard back box with the decat?
  3. Not a problem, it's not the first time I've been called that It was certainly nice watching that line keep going up. I think (with the exception of the FMIC) you do it all for under a grand (plus fitting of course) and that's including the AFR for safety. FCD AFR Decat + restrictor ring Boost controller performance air filter (maybe)
  4. No excuses here... but it was hot in there... I'll be back in the winter for another go. Excellent day, great food, really happy... Seriously though AFR \ Austec put on a really great day (thanks loads) and it was really good to meet some new people and see a few older faces... even if they were a little pink... no names... Jeff The crackling was top notch as well. Does anyone know what the top TVR of the day was?
  5. Nice one! I have a big head btw. I promise not to sweat too much... and I'll bring some febreeze.
  6. Looking at some of the times for BPU cars I'm expecting that I may well hit the 110 barrier (herein to be known as the helmet barrier) but I haven't got a crash helmet. I know it's a bit cheeky but would anyone be able to lend me one on the day if I can't hire one there (which it would appear that I can't)?
  7. It says 110 on their website... point 3 in the rules and reg's http://www.rwyb.co.uk/rules.php
  8. What's the deal with crash helmets on the day? I'm sure something was mentioned, but I can't find it. I also had a look on the RWYB website and they say you'll need one, but they don't say where you can get one from. Can they be rented \ borrowed on the day? I take it a snowboarding bash hat won't cut the mustard?

  10. If so, have you got any 'bits' that you will be getting rid of as a result?
  11. nobody needs one? open to offers...
  12. Lakeside might not be a bad idea... not sure how great the tunnels would be on a weekend afternoon. Definitely an option though.
  13. Unfortunately, this seems to have died a death... Not sure Brands Hatch is such a great place to have a weekend meet. Anyone think of anywhere else we could go? "The Moat" in Wrotham has quite a big car park and is not that far from Brands.
  14. I assume it's the full length pillar pod variety?
  15. I think they came from Miami-GT, but they don't seem to be around any more...
  16. I'm also interested in parts if you end up splitting. And if you win this Daman and you do end up selling some of yours, can you pm me please? Thanks.
  17. btw, I wasn't suggesting I wanted £90+ for this, only sensible offers.
  18. waiting on pm / prices for the following polished rad cover polished battery and rad clamps polished fuse boxes polished top rad hose pillar pod HID front lights If it's a manual, then the gearstick surround. thanks
  19. Cheaper than buying a new stereo for your pride and joy, this little tool will enable your Japanese stereo to pick up a full complement of British radios. (definitely should have worked for QVT) Anyway... It's never been used so it's in mint condition. Just needs plugging in-line with the antenna wire and connecting to a power source and it's all gravy. Give us a few quid to cover p&p and I'll send it your way.
  20. No... Only kidding As far as I know it does, but as I said, it was never fitted. It still has the original pre-soldered ends on the wires. I do know of the problems you speak... of... but it was bought before mine and mine was bought after those afore mentioned problems. I wouldn't know how to go about testing it either, bar actually fitting it to a car. But if it doesn't work, I'm not leaving the country (well, that's not strictly true as I've just booked a holiday)... you could always send it back.
