  1. Just saw this while trawling: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=132620 Really puts life in perspective.
  2. I'm drinking water. You guys are No really, this is my favorite forum too, even if I have to deal with the "yank haters" and continual propaganda from time to time. The people here keep me coming back. Can't wait for the Dragonball and Ring meets.
  3. I'm exactly the same. The forces has given me experiences and memories. Stop spending all your money on stuff and start spending more on memories or future memories. Spend more of your free time outside and enjoy every day like it was your last. What if you die tomorrow? It could happen to any of us. If I see my death about to hit me while crossing the street, I'll look at my life in those split seconds and be able to say I lived and it was a great ride. You have the power, you have the choice. Don't wait for someone else to make tomorrow happen today. It's up to you. There's nothing wrong with working at a desk. If you really don't like it, find another job. You could be engineering stuff in Dubai or leading a building project in China right now. I'd put money on it. Sorry for the long reply, but a MLC at 29? I'm 33 and life just keeps getting better and better. Do you have a hot woman with large posterior protrusions? Getting one may make you feel better. If not, might I recommend http://www.redtube.com (NWS btw) to get your mind off life sucking for a while.
  4. WTF - how can the US be to blame? Have I done something to encourage people to be dishonest? I have Sky rather than American cable and I have never seen so many "I was walking through a lobby and it was wet. I slipped and banged my knee. The pain was aweful. I saw a "insert BS title here" claims adjuster and they helped me. I received a check for 3000 £ and it really helped" commercials in my life. The only time I ever saw that kind of crap when I lived in the states was on the late nite channels that only show B movies. I know there are a lot of 'blood sucking lawyers' in the U.S., but to blame a country for a cultural trend promulgated by your TV programming? Sorry, but a bit bias. Chris, while I value your opinion when it comes to all things automotive, I'm gonna have to say that wasn't right. CJ - Well... I would expect it from you. *waits for the spears* Maybe I need a little help at the next meet. I'm dying to know why the U.S. is to blame for everything bad. Everybody has a choice. Edit - Sorry for the hijack. Salvatore, I hope you are ok first and foremost. I'm dealing with almost daily neck and back pain from an injury 2 years ago. If you have any pain, please get properly checked out. As for your Supra, I hope it's back on the road nice and pretty the way it should be soon.
  5. Patent my @$$, that comes from aircraft technology. Paul, is it two screens of glass with a filiment sandwiched around the edges?
  6. I've been giving serious thought to a medium singled 2JZ RX. So many good builds happening, it's inspiring.
  7. Were I not in the market for a 6 spd and if I didn't already have an auto, we'd be talking. I can't believe nobody's bought this. Especially with all the people who are "looking".
  8. Sorry, no. Doesn't belong, looks awkward, and is basically insulting to the car. That's like a ketchup and pickle flavored ice cream. Sure, you could eat it, but would ya want to?
  9. Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position Non-Runflat. Well worth it. Last tire was also good: Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S
  10. Driving to Gibralter for 3 weeks... in the Supra. Nice petrol bill. Would be great to see ya Gaz.
  11. Great looking car. Thanks for the motivation. I'm off to the carwash to get my hands dirty. Your morning view is enviable btw.
  12. ah, perfect. She seen these then?
  13. Sorry to hear this. I pray the driver is ok. Please explain for the Englishly-impaired. What exactly is a "verge"? Is this like a median?
  14. Is that your woman in the front seat? I love the look on her face.
  15. September may be too late for me guys. I have to return to the states this August September. My time in Germany is coming to an end. I'm not asking you to fix dates on my behalf, but having been to the last two Dragonballs, I'd really like to see all the smiling faces one more time before I have to go back to the land of humongously oversized turbos producing unbelievable dyno numbers and going too fast on downhill tracks while enjoying cheap parts and cheaper petrol. Could we do it in June/ July? Is there any way? I would even be willing to help with the Recce.
  16. Those kids should be beatin. With large pieces of dimension lumber.
  17. Willing to split? I may be interested in the top mounts.
  18. That is passion. That is vision. Hat's off to him for an incredible build. Wish I had the money to do the same. Can you imagine how much he must love that car now?
  19. Jeez, what was I thinking. That's a good point! It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't care for the language on SF. Sometimes, I don't either. Still, the amount of knowledge there is incredible.
  20. I love the way my car looks and feels on 18s. In my opinion, for the size of the car, they're not too big.
