  2. Hi peeps Hoping someone in the know can help!! I took the supra for a spin the other day for the first time after christmas. She had been parked up of 3 months and when i went to start her, the battery was as flat as a board. Anyways, charged the battry for a few hours and she fired up with no probs and after a nice relaxing drive the battery seemed to be in good order. I decided to drive the supra to work for the past few days but im now having some issues with some of the electrics. Firstly, the windows no longer have a nice action, but are now rather lumpy and slow to travel up and down. The rear wiper is very bouncy and requires me to up the rev's to send it back to the rest position. Im hoping its the battery but before i go and buy a new one has anyone came across this in there cars. PS. I had none of these issues before she was parked up.. Thanks for any help Fox
  3. What gets me about e-bay is the amount of crap on it these days. Bed room traders, cheep knock up's, ect, ect:boxing: The problem is regardless how you look at it e-Bay have done a great job in marketing the site. How many people do you know have never heard of e-bay. By the way, my worst purchase was a veilside c1 bumper, Thats all i have to say about that......

    BHP Question!!

lol, You could say that.. No, the reason I ask is because I'm taking my supra of the road this winter to install a single turbo. Looking at the different packages I trying to work out whats the best approach for me. I would like a car able to reach high 10's down the strip but at the same time i would also like the car to be able to be driven everyday!! if there is such a thing.... Im also looking at weather this is too much and should just have a streetable 600 car that will blitzs most things of the road!!! What to do, What to do!!!!

    BHP Question!!

    RWHP and 10 dead?
  17. Sorry for bring this post back from the dead but it might help other members decide. -------- Just home from the holls. Me and the wife to be went on a trip around Ireland and yes we took the supra. We have covered around 1500 miles and I have to say never once did we get a bad or ill reception anywhere. Thumbs up everywhere with the odd little boy racer egging us on to "BURN THE BACK WHEELS" all in all a very enjoyable experance. Back to the good stuff, here the low down. The car at idle has a small faint rattel. This rattle dies away with just a little more rev's. Pick up from low revs in high gears (5 - 6) the car realy sounds lumpy, until it gets going then everything is back to normal. No big issue, either down shift or nurse it out. BUT it does sound BAD!! I will have a play about with my camcorder and see if i can record the noice at idle and pick up..... anyways hope this helps, I still think it's money well spent!!!

    BHP Question!!

Just a quick question for some one in the know. What Bhp figure would a manual 6 speed supra need to be aiming at to hit the 10 second 1/4 mile?

I had one!! I was a great car but nothing like the supra!! And everything is a PITA to fix or mod

  21. Not that i can tell mate, the car idles fine with no clunking or ratteling at the min, but thats not to say in a week or so that might change. The car feels way more responcive and i would recomend this setup to anyone!! Im defo well please and i think it's money well spent.
  22. Just fitted a Veilside Teardrop and i think its the dogs balls. it has a low down rumble and when it’s on note it sounds absolutely the dogs balls. I would defo rate this as one of the best sounds i have ever heard on any car!! BurmmmmmmMMMMMMMM ,Pissssstuuu
