Where do people think the ideal place for the aero catches would be to prevent the bonnet disforming?

You reckon the aero catches would be good enough to make it safe? With having other carbon bits on the car now it's very easy to see that they are not as solid & strong as their steel counterparts, the doors and hatch don't get hit with the same force as the front so I'm a bit nervous of putting something on which may ultimately be a bad idea when aproaching 200

Just want to know peoples thoughts/experiences of a carbon fiber hood and doing top speed runs. Are they upto it? I seem to recall a video of a top speed run where the bonnet was bulging with the air force.

My thoughts are they're a bit dated, and there are better alternatives now, but are good if you want to fit some big ass wheels

Took it to get weighed today, 1320kg @ over 1/2 tank fuel, pretty much bang on what I calculated (1309kg @ 1/4 tank fuel). Goes in for MOT on Monday and to get the Borla 4" muffler welded into midpipe, I think that will only add a couple of kilos extra. Also went for a run this afternoon with the windows down at around 160 leptons and the lexan wasn't happy, I'm going to put the glass back in

Received this today, massive thanks Stu , I did a quick test by shoving it over the end of my tailpipe and it makes a noticable difference, sounds pretty lush TBH, going to get it put into my midpipe asap -
OEM recaros are as heavy as OEM seats. I have the profi-spgs, you should checkout my weightloss thread to see the low mount ultra light bases I made. Even if you use the 1.5kg alloy mounts you still need to bolt them to a frame (ie the sidemounts don't bolt straight into the car)
