  1. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, or something like that How many UK Black TT Manuals are there still left (I know most of the 600 odd UK's were autos) I bet there were only a handfull made in the first place. Cheers Roveri, that's exactly what I'm after, will need to do some serious ass kissing with the old lady to get to spend 60 notes on a set of indicators though
  2. Cheers Danny I debated the dildos, I quite like them, but all the origional UK owners seem to hate them, I'll sleep on that idea for a while I think
  3. My ideal Supra would have been a 6 Sp TT UK in black, seeing as though they're rarer than rocking horse sh1t I had to get an import and do the finishing touches myself. Just thought I'd share the finished article with y'all (more images in my garage): Anybody know where to get the clear indicators for the side (front & rear)? Jay
  4. I got all the bits from Toyota for £135 (supposed to be £150 but a blagged a 10% discount), Jay
  5. Here's a pic of them with gold centers (don't know whos car it is, hope they don't mind) http://www.imotors.co.uk/temp/jay/shafs_volk_in_gold.jpg My favourite wheel at the moment J
  6. Not really bothered about the loom, I'm going for the always down look (esp as I'll prolly go for a FMIC in the future), Cheers for the help, much appreciated Ta Jay
  7. Cheers Jody, I do seem to recall some plastic trim that I thought was getting in the way of the main brackets but I was unsure if I should remove / cut it, seemed a bit extreeme for something that should bolt straight on, Jay
  8. Cheers chaps, I'll have another look, it was late last night when I started Jay
  9. I purchased the Active Spoiler mechanism for my J-Spec, went to fit it yesterday thinking there would be mounting points already but it's completely different. The 4 mounting points on the active spoiler hinges do not line up with any holes , and the under tray itself seems different between the UK & J-Spec. Anyone else come up with this when fitting one to their J-Spec, it's a facelift BTW, dunno if that makes any difference, Ta Jay
  10. **** Ignore this. Got one now **** Just the spoiler assembly itself as i just want the (locked down) look, will purchase the lot if need be (motors, switch, ecu etc) FYI Located in Durham, but will buy from anywhere in UK, Ta Jay
  11. Good stuff Got my eyes peeled for a nice set of deep dish rims, I'm totally confused at the moment, there's so many to choose from. Also need either my bonnet respraying (looks like it's been washed with a brillo pad ) or a UK if poss. That's about it for the mo, still enjoying it as standard so not going to rush in making all sorts of changes
  12. Cheers bud, how's the turbo conversion plans coming along? J
  13. Thought I'd finish my hello with some shots of the car, it's exactly as I bought it, all it's had is a bloody good wash : Jay
  14. Dunno if this is any help but : netstat /a from the command prompt shows any TCP connections you have (doesn't show how much band width they're using though) A site such as Network Solutions can be used to lookup any IP Addresses to provide more meaningfull Domain Name information. May help in tracking down any connections that are being made that you know nothing about. Jay
  15. Thanks Mitch, Here's the photo's of me part way through the first one (the one that was origionally binding), http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/jevansio/Supra%20Brakes/Dscf0408_Small.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/jevansio/Supra%20Brakes/Dscf0407_Small.jpg Jay
  16. Thank you, that was a great help, First one done, took my time, even had time for a plate of Chicken Tikka Masala Just off now to do the other one, will get some pics up later this evening Jay
  17. Just like to say a great big Thank You to Stuart (superb bloke - and his mam & dad). The car is a peach The 4 hour drive back yesterday was great, the Supra just lapped up the miles in comfort (my poor lass has to drive my Rover 216 back lol). Off out now to perform the UK brake conversion (had the car ), time to get my hands dirty, Jay
  18. Thanks, yeah got a bit like that on IMOC, checking in every evening to see what's new
  19. You can't go wrong with £6K Dan!!!! Yeah 6 Sp Man TT, going for the standard look, and a set of 18" deep dish alloys (unsure of what to get yet). Maybe after a month or so I'll get it to BPU level (it's nearly there, just need it decatting), then... hang on I'm getting carried away here, I haven't even bought the thing yet
  20. Isn't it always the case
  21. Hey Danny, how are ya? Well I wasn't until last Saturday, had my mind set on either a Cerbera or a C5 Z06. I've always loved the Supra though and I scanned the ads on here and it rekindled my love for them Are you planning on getting one? (Edit that - I've just seen your Sig, I thought you had a Scooby???) Jay
  22. Thanks chaps, Not personally, more like "know of him" Jay
  23. Why thank you, LOL, already it downloaded it today at work & read several times , I'm going to take the buyers guide with me, it's a pretty good doc for a prospective newbie Supra owner, Jay
  24. Just thought I'd say a quick hello after signing up today Don't own a Supra yet... but I'm going to look at one on Saturday and all being well should be the proud owner of a black TT 6 speed . I've just moved up from a modded MR2 (they've been my last 3 cars) and have been a member of IMOC for years, now I look forward to the same friendly atmosphere here, Jay
