  1. I'll still be around (I'll prolly stay away from here a while to start with until the pain passes, can't be doing with all this Supra talk after mine has just gone), just not in a Supe

  3. Provisionally sold pending test drive Jerry is coming this weekend for it, he's getting a hire car and will be leaving it here so has full intentions of taking it away, I don't see any reason why the sale won't go through without a hitch now, yay time to look for a new cruiser
  4. Those housings are gonna look great when it's all back together
  5. Thanks for the info, still in the process of changing cars, but i must admit it is a very appealing vehicle
  6. How have you found the car reliability wise? Would you say it could be used everyday? And in the snow if needed? Are there any details on the ABC system, work completed, any faults you've experienced with it? Also the roof mechanism, any additional info on that, faults/work carried out?
  7. I can't remember. I got the feeling someone on here pointed him at the thread so assumed he maybe had mates on here
  8. Just had a call from a guy from Scotland called Jerry. He seems to be able to look past the lack of heating & stereo etc which is IMHO one of the big problems with selling a car like this. Maybe it will end up going back home to Scotland (thats where I bought it lol)

Lol, she won't catch you if you buy it

Sorry guys, I just noticed, empty now
  11. Nail on the head there bud Lol, like I said the last time, this time I mean it
  12. I left my mobile at home today bud, will speak with you later
  13. I'd be very tempted if I had the cash from the Supe
  14. Not really, needs to be luxurious & lot of toys and look semi-special. Funnily enough was just looking at SL55 AMGs (convertible would be great for the summer), but any of the big loaded mercs would be nice, also the RS6 has the bonus of 4wd which none of the other competitors have
  15. Cheers mate, I'm hoping you don't mind me playing on your sad predicament in an attempt at a marketing ploy
  16. Up for sale is my big single. It's a 1997 Black Facelift, 6 month tax, 11 months MOT, miles around 50k. Full spec & pics in garage, but basically 67 billet running 720bhp. Car has extensive weight reduction and was weighed @ 1320kg with over half tank. This means it has no stereo & the heater system behind the dash removed. Interior wise is pretty much stock bar the 2 Recaro Profi seats. Paintwise needs a respray but I was waiting until I had finished all the carbon panels. The parts on the car have been chosen by me to be the best I could afford and no cheap bits (ie Greddy 4 Row, HKS manifold / wastegate, Greddy inlet, Billet turbo, Veilside Teardrop, Advan RZ's, AP Racing brakes, Built Block, Full Defi's and much more). This car has served me well performing in VMax with many top speed pulls in searing heat (180mph), as well as TOTB in the heat and Santa Pod with 10+ passes in one day. Hopefully this aint a car which is going to go pop the 1st time a new owner takes it to a mile event. I suggest if you are serious about the car you phone me on Lets keep this on topic with no "what ya doing Jay" posts
  17. It is going to be a feckin monster, Jamie, why don't you run your old 76 until the new turbo turns up?
  18. I love it, have a real soft spot for 2's. I can only imagine how much of a handfull that must be, 700hp in the Supra is pretty mental but the size of the car and the front engine helps, 700hp in a mid engine rwd with the torque curve must be pretty hairy
  19. Aye I'm really wanting to keep the stock look, that is a good idea, so unsure on what to do with the bonnet, stock or vented :/
  20. Pretty sure I'll be OK upto 60mph Rog, just kidding , I was actually going to say that do people think that a vented bonnet will help ie is the bulgeing caused by the air hitting the front or the air passing through the fmic & rad needing to escape the bay?
