  1. Having been rear ended in my old one (lady travelling at 40mph) I wouldnt want to lose the back one. Her car was writted off but was barely a scratch on mine!
  2. lol ur prob right mate but I'm not too fussed - having the centres black makes it much harder to notice, plus they are so light it cant be bad (i'm convinced they weigh less than the space saver spare!)
  3. i didn't have it done, they were like it when i got them... originally it looks like the centres were powder coated and the outers were anodized red. Someone has since had the outers painted silver.
  4. i approve of the wheels! I have to say that tho as mine are the same but the centre's are powder coated black!
  5. Steve what shocks has yours got? Bilstein yellows? Also does it have the active spoiler?
  6. if ur circlips are still strong tho you will need to take them off first - for some reason they hold the shaft just wide enough to stop the nut coming off completely on mine. once off, the cover comes off and you will see the nuts
  7. Looks good Went out in my mates s14a the other night, running 270ish with what he's done so far. Have you got plans for this one?
  8. @ JohnA way to get your point across!
  9. i think the scope for more power was related to the integra??
  10. have y tried suggesting living in the car instead? should offer a little more protection from the elements!
  11. not properly but you could get alot of the way there, unless you fancy fitting the bits yourself?? I'm in witham mate so not really that close lol
  12. seems alot of money for a naturally aspirated one to me. I'd have a search round on autotrader like the others have said, and exchange and mart can also be pretty handy!
  13. have a look on http://www.carfolio.com/specifications mate for some comparisons. Wherabouts in essex are you?
  14. also, was it as wet where you are last night as it is here?!
  15. that was me! was nice to meet ya
  16. your IQ score is significantly above average. Congratulations! You have a wide range of exceptional skills which are much stronger than those of the average population. You are also skilled at answering the types of questions that are asked in a classic IQ test. The test analyses your strengths and weaknesses based on your mathematical, linguistic, visual-spatial and logical skills. Even though you have high scores in all of those areas, we are able to analyse your results to discover the areas in which you have the strongest abilities. Like a meticulous collector, you've fed your brain a unique set of facts and figures over the years. Words, numbers, you've got it all. That's what makes you a Facts Curator. Whether or not you intend to absorb every piece of information that comes your way, your mind has certain steel-trap qualities to it. You are a knowledge sponge. You have almost enough words in your head to fill a dictionary, and you're equally adept when it comes to manipulating numbers. You can also detect important patterns in number sequences, and probably remember the mnemonic devices you were taught in your early school years. How does that tell me areas I have strongest abilities? :S
  17. on a serious note (kind of) this got me thinking... what would happen if you turned overdrive off at 160+ in an auto? is it clever enough to stop you from doing that??
  18. Mental. Question is though, who in their right mind would do this rather than buying a supra? (if back seats were a necessity you'd get a skyline surely?!)
  19. lmao! fair point! Did anyone see what they said on Top gear about how quickly the SLR could empty its tank?!
  20. Picked up my new one yesterday (93 TT) and have stareted getting round a few bits and pieces that wanted doing... Anyway I knew the power steering wasnt working but figured it was the electronic part as there were no obvious leaks anywhere... checked and found what appeared to be mouse damage to one of the smaller wiring looms on the drivers side of the engine bay, repaired the wires, put my stereo in (which involved disconnecting and reconnecting some of the boxed that sit on top of the cage) and now the power steering works... What I'd like to know is... are these likely to be the relevant wires that are power steering related? If not have I been flukey and made a dodgy connection good on the control box behind the dash? Which control box actually relates to power steering? Anyone that can shed light would be appreciated as I'm really curious now!! Adi.
