  1. their work was pretty poor really, they used to charge a ridiculous amount and worst of all they used to lie about work done. The prob is i didnt notice as i only use the car for fun runs on the weekend I only noticed 2 weeks later classic was quote from sam when my car was done: 'we bled your brakes for you and filled it with the rbf600 you gave us' then why then 2 weeks later did i find the 2 unopened bottles of rbf behind my passenger seat?????????????????????????? bunch of jokers seriously i went there once, for some minor work. Never would i have gone there again.

  4. as long as its 5/6/7 youll be laughing, stay away from a 4 though, they are bloody tinny and unreliable, theyre also pretty easy to steal apparently
  5. mate if anything did go wrong a month later the first port of call would be to go back to the tuner. If it still wasnt resolved then make it public. The main issue with Turbofit is that they were at best negligent and at worst dangerous. My tuning knowledge peaks at BPU/Suspension/Brakes and thats as far as I have gone with all my cars (300zx/GT4/Soarer/Supra) I wouldnt go any further because i wouldnt know if a good job has been done or not. However, if I did, I would go to the tuner with the fastest car in that field. I went to Turbofit because i live in milton keynes and they were literally on my doorstep. Things that happened on my car were pretty minor like they damaged my power steering valve and claimed it was 'worn' and chaged my spark plugs but didnt note my cambelt was shot and needed replacing. However, how do you deal with something like that? NOT TO GIVE THEM ANY MORE BUSINESS. It seems like problems had happened quite a few times with other people that have used them so its a lesson learnt to not pick people on your doorstep because they may not be the best
  6. looks v nice, love that aston type wingless look
  7. I see what youre saying. If that is true its pretty bad, however its the nature of forums, where people make small groups that they stick to and unfortunately in that some people will shout down others 'in the know' . I digress but it happend pretty frequently in any of the 'islam' threads where people whom actually know about islam are constantly shouted down by people whom have never even met a muslim. Looking at the dispute threads the sick comedy of using a woodscrew to secure the quickshift in Pig's car should have resulted in pretty much a ban straight away! To actually defend the use of a 1p woodscrew from B+Q in a performance 500bhp car is pretty ridiculous. Its quite a british trait not to complain until things go badly wrong. Unfortunately if people did comment on the forum about faults on their car (including me!!) then maybe these issues would have been resolved earlier and theyd still be in business too. Ross Juniper of Dragon Performance famous in RX7 circles said on one of the TOTB DVD'S : 'If you were going to modify your car then youd want to take it to the tuner with the fastest car' I cant think of anything truer in regards to tuning. And there are only really 3 main tuners in this country in that respect; Whifbitz, JPS and Envy

  14. i was quite shocked to read this as i thought that knight racer had gone down too. Luckily this isnt the case as they really sorted my car out after my crash and completely restored it to show condition. I had a little bit of work done by turbofit and had to have a few minor things sorted out by another garage. Like most people i thought greg and sam were nice people too but super high prices and below par work meant that i wouldnt have used them again.
