  1. Sorry just noticed that your limit is £5k. For that a manual probably wont be obtainable... The Auto's are awesome cars though thats for sure. Have you contacted CJ to see if he can source you any nice ones?
  2. Dude, DONT buy an Accent for christs sake!! They are bloody awful cars...!!! My mate bought a new one three months ago, and its the biggest bag of sh*t Ive ever driven. Anything above 70mph and the car feels unsafe!! Seriously, get something like a second hand Fiesta or Corsa or something...
  3. Personally, having owned both manual and auto (tiptronic) Supra's, I would go for the manual mate. Dont get me wrong, like many members on here will verify, the auto's are great boxes, and really fast and smooth. However, for a performance car like a TT, I would always go with manual. Without wanting to labour on other points mentioned, you will also have more difficulty selling the TT down the line if it is an auto. Fact is, the majority of people want the manual versions. They clearly retain there value far better... Just my opinion...
  4. Thats an awesome bit of kit. Silly price too imo.... Someone is going to get a bargain.
  5. I had a Stillen kit fitted to my Soop before I sold it - see the images on this link mate. Easily the nicest looking kit and fit imo.... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=85815
  6. Im sure getting his IP address would be possible mate, but what it would tell you is another thing.... If he is doing this regularly, he probably sets up his accounts somewhere public, which makes things virtually un-traceable - such as an internet cafe... Out of interest, doesnt his paypal account give address details?
  7. Phil - your car already has a restrictor ring, set at 1.1 bar....
  8. Thats a silly price.... Looks great in white - my missus would love this!!
  9. No one want the boost gauge? Lovely bit of kit...
  10. Alright Lee A local Motorbike learning centre does a direct access course for about £600 from memory. For that you will get unlimited lessons till you pass your test. I know as an alternative they also charge £100 odd pound per lesson, so a lot of people just go for the £600 all in package - obviously it will vary from place to place. Each lesson consists of a morning or an afternoon, so a few hours each. The one I went to years ago made us start out on 125's till we got used to the handling, then we moved up to 500's for a few more lessons until we were ready for the test. I think you will probably be looking at about a grand from start to finish for a full licence. Thats CBT, theory test, practical test and lessons. As for crash courses, personally I wouldnt go on one, but thats just because they churn the students out and dont necessarily concentrate on actually teaching you how to control a bike as much, rather just get you through the test. Just my opinion...
  11. Deposit taken. Cheers for all the interest guys.
  12. How old are you mate? I would do a direct access if you are older than 21. That way, you dont have to ride anything restricted at all. Just dont go out and buy a blade once you've passed. Get a 600 or something, maybe an SV or similar - something that will teach you how to ride properly before jumping up to something bigger.... A CBT isnt a test by the way. There is no pass/fail for it. You just turn up at some car park for the day, go round some cones, learn to brake and move the bike, and then spend a couple of hours on the road. Thats why it will only allow you on a 125cc or less with learner plates...
  13. If you are under 21, then to ride something of 33bhp, you still need to take a full Motorbike test. This is called a restricted motorcycle test I believe and means you go from cat A licence to cat A2. Its essentially the same as a direct access test, just on a smaller bike... If you are over 21, then you may as well do your direct access, as this allows you to ride anything you want. Just doing your thoery and your CBT, means you can only ride upto a 125cc with learner plates, ie. Not a restricted 600cc. So this wont be an option regardless of what kind of sound you want your bike to make... Hope that helps to clarify things a little. Im pretty sure this is what the goverment makes learners do now... Any Motogp fans??

You git - its going to be one hell of a race!! Im still not convinced Pedrosa isnt going to take Rossi out at the first available oppurtunity!! After all, he owes that to Hayden!! If he doesnt, then Ive got my money on Rossi walking away with the title again....
  16. Cheers for the comments mate. Much appreciated. Its a superb car thats for sure, and one that I wouldnt sell had my motorbike racing been so bloody expensive!!
  17. Good idea mate. Let the dust settle and give the guy a chance to send the phone. If it turns out you have been conned, get the money back through Ebay. Still f*ckin annoying though mate!!
