Depends !! Southern Ireland its easy to import into , but basically if your gonna Import to england from southern Ireland the same rules apply, Mind you the amount of tax you pay importing to southern Ireland is huge Northern Ireland is exactly the same as the UK , ESVA still applies V -

Well i`d wait and see what happens before you enter into it, You would had to of lived there a year and owned the car for at least six months, when you paid the Tax to import the vehicle you will be issued by Customs and excise a c&e 388, that proves to Vosa that all is correct , then the application for sva can be processed !! I do have some knowledge of this as I used to work for VOSA years ago, and then worked at an SVA test centre for 3 yrs, oh and my partner works within model reports, just dont wanna see anyone end up with a car they cant do bugger all with and out of pocket . Yeah, but you need to prove that you also have lived in the country for that year as well !!!!! you need evidence, such as registation documents with your address in the country, bank account details etc, etc, I have registered cars for people that bring them into the country as a Personal imports, and it can be a pain in the arse to satisfy DVLA with the relevant documents !!!! Also you need to be able to prove this evidence to VOSA before the vehicle can be SVa`d. Like I say its not easy, even for people who are genuinely bringing in personal imports. -

Had mine done yesterday, 4hrs 30 mins !! 400 shots later , but I quite enjoyed it, coastal location so sat and enjoyed the sunshine, moved car a few times Hopefully will have them back next week to post up .

Sorry to hear this , glad you and lindsey are ok . Got so much stuff in my shed, paint,pool chemicals etc and some unused fireworks!! scary stuff, might just go and check there all hidden out of sunlight

One of my cats caught a mouse last week, she was cheerfully lobbing it around the garden til we caught her, I grabbed the cat and my otherhalf grabbed the pool net and scooped it up, still alive put it back into the bushes to make its escape, what we didnt bargin for was our other cat must have been hiding a watching, soon as we put the poor little mouse down , the other little git ran from the other side of the garden into the bushes, got the poor little mouse and run off into the woods with it , poor mouse
