Right, lets try to get this thing up and running again..... Looks like July is out due to either work commitment for some people, and also JAE is in that month too.... Anyone up for August? There is a car show in Leeds (Nostell priory) on the 14th of August.... From what I have heard, there is some gorgeous grounds there, so maybe we could find somewhere there to do the photoshoot ? the website for the show is http://www.risingsuncarshow.co.uk Its only £4 per person to get in, and its looking to be a good show.... Is this the crank pulley? Its a possiblility that the outside has sheared away from the inside if its like that, Neen reading on here thats it quite a common problem if you have an older car and if the pulley has ever been heated up to undo the crank pulley bolt....remember, its only held together with rubber and some vinegar and brown paper

I wouldnt imagine its an easy job mate. You need to press them out really... Maybe worth trying to find a engineers that are open and get them to do it..... Or, you can try hammering them out I think you need to take the disks and calipers and hubs off to do a proper job though.

MY girlfriend gets this.........I reckon its living with me In all seriousness, get to the doctor mate, its probably nothing too serious, but he can tell you if its a physical problem of mental, once you have found the problem (mental or physical) then you go can start to treat the cause. You are a serious engineering god Chris! Seriously, I know the engineering skill that has gone intp designing and building these brakes! I am in awe!! although, I do have a couple of teensy weensy questions Will the alloy stand up to the pressure of the shoes pressing against it? surely it was an engineers nightmare to design a shoe brake system from scratch? would it not have been easier to use a small second caliper for the hand brake? that probably sounds like its questioning your ability, but its really not, I just wondered why your using your method rather than the second caliper method
