  1. I know I know At least they're only small ones
  2. Ok people, another question on wheel spacers I need to fit 3mm spacers to my front wheels in order to facilitate my UK brakes, I've been advised by a wheel alignment centre to put them all round in order to keep everything in balance. Does this sound right? Will I need longer studs for 3mm spacers or will I get away with the standard ones? Thanks edited coz the tonue smiley doesn't look like it used to!
  3. I honestly believe that no-one will hate you for owning a DB9, I want that interior!
  4. Great to see you're making good use of your time dude Taking of poo on eBay; http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=48718&page=1
  5. Good work guys, 3 days to go yet
  6. Can you imagine getting a parking ticket? Car make / model: "ermm..... large pig"
  7. Me and a mate talking to two girls in a local club; Them: "Most guys run off when we tell them we've got kids" Me (trying to be funny): "Most girls run off when we tell them we've got AIDS"....... We left shortly after.
  8. Looking at pics of the DB9 makes me go all wobbly...... Dream car
  9. Indeed, but I didn't think the cold air could make the engine bay sing to itself
  10. Would love to be able to make this one and actually meet some of you guys, but I'm going to be on a nightshift
  11. The perfect replacement for the ghey Supra squeeker!
  12. Since the temperature has started dropping now I've noticed a difference in the sounds my turbos are making in the cold. I've got used to the usual whistling noise made by no1 under even the slightest of boost, but recently there seems to be at least another 2 whistles joining in It's really hard to explain but the other noise seems to be coming more from the passenger side area of the engine side than from no1 itself, and is a slightly higher pitch. Being an auto it's hard to check exactly where it's coming from as I don't believe the tubbies will spool at a standstill. It ONLY does this in very cold weather. There certainly seems to be nothing wrong with the car, both turbos spool quickly, boost is slightly higher due to the colder air, and the car goes like a rocket Any ideas?
  13. Another vote here for F1's, transformed the handling of the car when I fitted them all round
  14. I've taken a couple of cars to Engine Advantages, technically they don't know Supras that well, but Paul Hills is a great bloke, and damn good at mapping - the experience the guy has with various manufacturers is superb. Glad you've got the problem fixed
  15. My front calipers arrived today but a word of warning guys, check them, or at least sign for them as damaged if the boxes look anything like mine; Luckily the only damage seems to be a small amount of the supra logo has been chipped off;
  16. I agree completely about the no win no fee culture cropping up in this country, we all wonder why we pay sky high insurance premiums but whenever a small or large knock occurs there's always someone shouting whiplash.......
  17. I spoke to Scott and he seemed to know supra's inside out..... but I really think that anyone under 25 is going to struggle, £2500 seems to be their "go away and stop bothering us" figure. That said I'll definately be going back to them in a year or so's time, seems that for the over 25's they're quite good.
  18. Skidpan day in Colchester? Hell yeah! However, not knowing anything about skidpans, I take it they're completely slippery, i.e, not much chance of tyre damage or excessive wear?
  19. Glad he's okay, sounds like a lucky escape! I'm going to have to use 3mm spacers on my supra when my UK brakes are ready to go on so I'm dreading the same thing happening
  20. I think the J-spec TT tank is 70 litres, and the UK is 80.... so by today's optimax prices that's just over £70 for a full tank in an import
  21. Really sorry to hear this At least you and everyone else is okay, sounds like it could've been much worse. Then again it could have been much better, so hope you get back behind the wheel of a supra again soon.
