  1. Just fitted my Blitz SUS filter (thanks for that Dude), and thought while I'm here I'll fit my ''manual boost controller''. So I did a search on how to fit it, and ended up on the .com site where it explains how to do it etc. etc. Reading on though it says that for maximum boost just leave the pipe off completely... so I did. Now my car is standard apart from the air filter so I thought 'How much difference can it make?' I found out... 'Quite a lot!!' Normal boost is 0.76 bar max, this hit 1.45!! before giving out the most allmighty bang under the bonnet, and leaving me with no power and no dump valve. SH1T !! Just as I was about to go to bed and hide, I thought I'd see what I'd done - thinking the turbos would be scattered around the engine bay. Luckily for me it was just an intercooler pipe blown off under the pressure, phew ! Stupid boy. What a rush though:stupid: Chris
  2. Thought you had just got '15' profiles on;)
  3. Have you got really, really low profile tyres on, or is the front tyre going a bit flat? Trully amazing looking car mate, I'm dead jelous. Chris
  4. Hi Supragal, Bit of a late comer, but could you put me down for: 1 x L Polo in white with black BBS logo & 1 x L hoodie in black with white BBS logo please if I'm not too late Thank-you I may have missed this but how/when do you want payment?
  5. I had mine done at Toyota, £50+VAT. Even though it worked before (just smelt fusty), it made a real difference, Smelt nice afterwards too. And they washed the car:)
  6. http://www.belldirect.co.uk:)
  7. I'm 24, 4yrs NCD, low crime etc. paying £1100 on jap TT6, with wheels declared. UK quote was less than £500. Good luck
  8. That is a trully mean sounding car:respekt: How do you get the dump valve to make that noise?? (The fluttery/squeaky one) I bought a HKS SSQV valve thinking it would sound like that, but it only does it at really low boost, and then only when it feels like it. Do I have to shell out loads more dollar?
  9. This may be an obvious question to you guys, but what is RLTC?
  10. I've just dis-connected said box thingy, remote locking did not work, after re-connecting BINGO. I think we have reached closure !! Do I get a prize ?
  11. I bought my TT from Vine Place, and I would always recomend them. I agree about being expensive but you get what you pay for from there:)
  12. I've only just joined but can I have a sticker please ? Hello by the way. Sorry to sound rude.
  13. I've got one on my Jap RZ, and I've got the remote key thingy. Any help ?
  14. As it was my first meet with you guys I didn't know what to expect (whether I would get ignored). But everyone present was friendly and made it easy to fit in, and I am DEFINATELY up for a repeat turn out. Thanks again to Rays The Roof for organising it!! P.S how nuts is LOTUS ?!? 120mph taking photos with no hands on the steering wheel.
  15. Thanks for that, I wont bother then!
  16. It certainly does suck though because, before I bought my J-Spec TT I got a quote from Elephant on a UK TT, the price was exactly half, and now I'm paying £997 with wheels declared. I'm 24 with 4 years NCD. How does this compare with you guys?
  17. I know it's not the same subject, but after a full de-cat does it fail an MOT ? Cos I got fed up of replacing the cat every year on my last car and don't want to go through it all again.
  18. As I am new to this forum I don't know if this has been asked before so please bear with me. I have just fitted a HKS Super Sequential BOV to my J-Spec TT, but it does'nt make the fluttering noise I thought it was supposed to. Do I need to change more parts, (induction kit, exhaust etc.) or is the valve not right? I have tried altering the bolt on the back, but it does not make any difference. Any thoughts ??
