Uz .. if I've spent ££££'s on my car having something done to it .. I then go on the forum and understandably as I'm pleased as punch ... then do alot of tuner flag waving ... When it does go Pete Tong - say a month later ... What do you think the chances of me swallowing some humble pie and admitting pubically on the forum that I made an error in judgement of my choice of tuner ?

As you've already hinted Gaz .. alot of the membership aren't Savvy. But if you read carefully certain threads in tech ... of who post the most ... you'll get a feel of who are the people you want to listen to. What you don't want is some tuner to tell you - that a T61 being caned at 1bar of boost on stock Jspec fueling is OK. There's a thread on here somewhere recently.

Not sure a good cup of tea and a couple of digestive biscuits is a pukka substitute for work that members have paid hefty money for. I'd like to see Turbofit make a public statement - I very much doubt it though. Perhaps others will remember that - if members say something about a trader's workmanship - it might be wise to read & listen prior to shooting & flaming all in the aid of PR.

The HKS is reliable but also quiet. Unless you run a single, the HKS SSQ will sound like a mouse fart on those stockers of yours. I've heard either Sard or Blitz are louder on stockers. Reliability on the the Sard/Blitz - dunno

I fitted a Greddy 3row with the stock bumper - it fitted nicely. Though, there was very little space left afterwards.

LC is up to you .. bit of a gimmick as is the digital adjuster. The basic package is the best VFM option.

Because your shiny induction kit is good at sucking hot air from the engine bay. You want as cold air as possible.

Get rid of the Blitz induction kit and put the stock box back on & do a search for BPU. And a BOV isn't a performance upgrade.

Set up yourself .. just use a WB and an AFR gauge. Get someone to drive your car while you read the AFR gauge & RPM. Then adjust the SAFC-2 accordingly. They are very simple to use. Sorry for the hijack Geneb .. over.

Hmmmmmm ... On stock J-Spec fueling you wouldn't want to use it. eBay it mate.

A S-AFC2 is pointless on J-Spec stock fueling. You wouldn't want to trim fuel .. and it's very bad to ADD fuel too! Because if you find you have to add fuel - then your injectors likely to be at very high in their duty cycle. Why would you want to go over the 100% cycle ? Although - I know of a trader on this BBS that thinks that's a good idea. Who told you that you needed it ?

You're best bet is eBay mate. Since the EM & EMU - the SAFC-2 isn't muchly used. It only has 12 neg points hence why nobody uses it.

Why not ? They made the HKS Mushroom induction kit. Which has the filtration ability of cotton wool for a street-setup. Possibily. Personally, I would say your wasting your money blinging an engine bay up. I'll agree it looks nice. But that's all it does. Furthermore, what's the point of it ? The bonnet is closed on the car most of the time. You can only revel in your bling when your parked up. I'll agree bling is appropriate - if you've got a show-car .. or a flagship for a company. What possible advantage does it have over stock ? Erm - lemme think. One's shiny & the other isn't. If the stock one is being dodgy, give it a clean - or replace it with the cheaper stock item. I'd wager a brand new stock one vrs one of those HKS ones .. has little difference OR the stock one is better. Spend your money on something more functional - like a decat pipe, suspension or brakes.
