I thought it started off as a myth that 2 trucks crushed a car head on and 'fused' together during the impact, allowing them to be towed away as one. they kept referring to nothing being 'welded' during the test.

Yep, got my Bravia from there 3 1/2 years ago. Also got £110 back on their price match deal as well.

We've just changed our policy to helpucover. They have a set maximum that resets each year for life - a lot of 'for life' policies have a max figure per illness.

Reliability goes down in relation to mods done and money spent on those mods!! Remember: Cheap, Fast, Reliable - choose 2. As for mpg etc. I averaged 22 in my TT, but I drive like a granny. Managed nearly 35 on a long motorway run (6 speed). They are very expensive cars to run, remember that point and feel good when you don't have to spend out on it.

Why can't it be simpler than that? Why can't I go to America (for example) and pledge allegiance to the flag and become an American citizen? You should be able to choose your nation to live in and have to jump through some specific hoops to become a citizen. That way all these 'what if's and exceptional examples don't matter and you can be whatever nationality you choose.

So would you say she is Venezuelan because she was born there? I'm sure she would say she is Portugese because her parents are? Now I'm confused.

It's fine to teach them about Portugal and teach them language and customs and whatever, and it'll be known officially that their Mother is Portugese, but they'll still be Welsh!

Which one? Which is quite remarkable if true, as she certainly didn't look like that on the telly. Are you talking about the one with the white hair? The short dumpy ugly one? Because from where I'm looking she looks just as short, fat and ugly as I'm sure she does in real life!!

Yep. I think we've agreed that with no wind resistance the bucket (and water) would fall at it's terminal velocity, so the water wouldn't be able to displace the cork and it would stay at the bottom - but if there WAS wind resistance the buckets velocity would be slightly less, so the water would be trying to fall slightly quicker and the cork would rise up very slowly. That's what my head sees but I was asking if it's true cos I don't actually know.

So if there was wind resistance would it just rise slower in the water?
