  1. My UK, my J-Spec, and other's that I have seen have slightly bent corners on them. I hope it's normal anyway Mine looks like this: http://www2.css-networks.com/airbag/1.jpg http://www2.css-networks.com/airbag/2.jpg http://www2.css-networks.com/airbag/3.jpg Is that what you were referring to though or something else?
  2. I can't tell that from the photos. What are you seeing? Do you know that all Supra passenger airbags have slightly bent-up corners?
  3. Twenty quid too expensive? You pay £10 for some vinyl "Supra" brake caliper decals..
  4. I was hoping someone would say that. Do I need to lift the radiator out or anything?
  5. I need to change mine but I'm really not looking forward to pulling the bumper off and whatnot Let me know what the facelift one ends up costing..

    idleing problem

My old UK car did this occasionally, and my new J-Spec car has done it maybe once or twice up to now. I think I just stuck the A/C on when it was doing it. I had presumed it was to do with me fitting colder plugs or something (for BPU).
  7. The broadband connection will be handled by the router and doesn't get "installed" on the thin terminal. The thin terminal just needs ethernet, which of course it will have. I would think the main stumbling block will be network access. Do you go for a thin client which establishes its own VPN connection (i.e., one that allows you to configure a PPTP or L2TP profile), or do you supply everyone with VPN-capable routers (e.g. Cisco, Draytek) that automatically establish the VPN connection? Are thin terminals even available that have inbuilt VPN clients? (I would think so, but you never know). What if people already have a computer at home. Are they going to want another one taking up similar desk space just for this? Perhaps giving them the option of running the client on their own computer would be worthwhile. Again, in this scenario would you be handing out VPN details directly to staff and having their workstation establish the connection, or just posting them preconfigured routers?
  8. I remember going through this MPG OCD just after I got my first Supra. I had worked out that using MANU mode, I could keep the revs below 1,500 in an attempt to save fuel. I don't bother any more
  9. Autoglymn's enginer cleaner & degreaser works to a degree. It won't get it shiny though.
  10. Whilst on this topic.. I could do with a motherboard recommendation as well. I want to use a PCI-e x8 SAS/SATA RAID controller, but I'm finding it hard to find a motherboard with a working x8 PCI-e slot. All the boards I have seen seem only to have PCI-e x16 for graphics (SLI also, but there's talk that these slots will only work for graphics cards). Has anybody got an SLI PCI-e motherboard and used the second PCI-e x16 slot for something other than a graphics card? Current thoughts are that I should just buy a cheap Dell server. edit: I just found this one.. but it's quite dear: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=572623 edit: and another: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=459994 None of the average price (~£40) boards have a usable PCI-e x8 slot though. Oh well at least they are available now anyway.
  11. Which reminds me.. I received some cheques in the post today, so I need to put in some bank receipts for them. Again, it's dead easy. I start Sage, and under customers it would show an outstanding balance for these people. I just go straight to Bank -> Customer, enter the start of their customer ref, and it'll automatically show their outstanding items, I click Pay in Full, then Save, and it's all done.
  12. I find Sage great for invoicing. It has some annoyances, like the fact that they have only just introduced the ability to email invoices directly via SMTP (rather than MAPI), and that if you highlight 10 invoices and say "email them", then it'll email all 10 invoices to the first company, rather than one to each company, but overall, it's dead easy to use. I stick everything in as S1, which is a special entry. It's really quick and I do it all remotely via RDP. Quickbooks is too Americanised.
  13. LOL, funny. When you said losing it, I thought he was going to get mad or something.

    Which printer?

Is the 6110 a wax printer (Xerox Solid Ink) like the 8400? I recommended a Phaser 8400 to one of my customers, and whilst it's great for charts and what not, it's not particularly great at photos. It's certainly not what I'd call photo-quality. And they smell when you first get them
  15. UK Spec brakes, luckily. I just seem to remember not seeing them on their price list, or not seeing the rear ones or something. It was the 01-Compound that I was looking for I think.
  16. That's what I was thinking. I could probably pretty much guarantee he didn't push the accelerator down hard enough to engage the proper kickdown switch though. Many Supra owners have driven their cars for a while and not realised how hard you have to push. Regardless of that though, an NA Supra would be boring and slow after an MR2 Turbo I should think. It'd be comfortable and pretty though, as long as it didn't have a loud exhaust, dropped suspension & veilsnide bodykit.
  17. It was you who recommended them Chris but I can't remember if you mentioned any prices or availability. I don't have any track days planned anyway as I'm still shit and Malcolm now lives in Spain ! Maybe a Supra trip to Guadix would be good
  18. Looks great. I like the blue halo effect thing. On a slightly opposite end of the scale, here are some pictures of a snowflake taken with an LT-SEM microscope. I thought it was impressive too: http://www2.css-networks.com/21.jpg http://www2.css-networks.com/22.jpg from http://www.anri.barc.usda.gov/emusnow/Magnification/Magnification.htm
  19. Looks great from the side if you cover the wing with your finger, because you can't see the hideous nose.
  20. I thought there was. I thought the VVTi N/A was the only interference engine of the range. I know we haven't seen any, although one of our members said he had one but didn't have a camera or something.
  21. I've heard fabulous things about their pads. Would like to find a dealer for them.
