  1. My knowledge isn't great anymore but if i can help i will.
  2. John Its looking really clean and a credit to you. If you want some feedback then i would say go for one or 2 colours for the anodised parts, you have a couple of different blues going on there plus the purple of the cam gears i think it detracts a bit.
  3. Exactly what i am looking for. Let me know if it doesn't get sold this afternoon.
  4. Will include postage in the prices and will accept paypal too. Images taken with the 50mm and 70 - 200mm (the camera was a 350d)
  5. Pm on the way, yes to the filter.
  6. I am in Staffordshire, so a bit of a trek. Its a hama circular polariser. product code is 72552.
  7. yes sir. It does start to soften towards the edges, but being a more landscape type lens the sharpness isn't such an issue, i find anyway. There is also slight vignetting but i don't know a wide angle lens that doesn't have this. It does produce some really good shots.

  9. A thread with religous views that hasn't been locked ! perhaps the "give love and peace" a chance thing is starting to work
  10. A mate was racing in that event although he avoided the chaos. It was a big cock up and 2 of the lead porsches were out of the race because of it. I believe the pace car was told to do a second lap but didn't keep his lights on to indicate this. Coupled with the fact the straight has a big dip in it so those at the back didn't see what was happening at the front.
  11. They turned it in to an ozzy yute with a spoiler.
  12. Gaz register here http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/ as you'll be reaching a more specific audience for it. I would also get the info on crank length. Cassette ratios (count the teeth on the smallest and largest cogs). Also measure the top tube and seat tube as these are the important bits for sizing and will no doubt be asked for by anyone looking to buy it. Its a nice bike, good luck with the sale. Told you the hybrid was the better bet
  13. That table shows theoretical top speed for the gearing not the actual speed the car can do. A gps verified 170. The Speedo is fairly optimistic (15mph) so take someones quoted top speed based on speedo with a pinch of salt
  14. This is the shower i have: HERE I believe the system is designed to work with low and hi pressure.
  15. A polished bay is a mare to look after at the best of times. Add vents and your job becomes that much harder unless you like polishing of course.
  16. Callling on you knowledgable people can you look at the attached diagram and tell me if this is ok. Im not a plumber so want to continue with the speedfit (there from the previous bathroom) and flexible compression pipes for ease of install. The thermostat will mount to the wall, and it is a concealed unit. I believe the water is high pressure (although the mixer works with both)and its a combi boiler. The thermostat is a one way type. Thanks for your time
  17. Top job John just in time for the warmer months. All you need now is a proper photo shoot to show it off, lens flare and blurry pics are not showing off your hard work to its full potential.
  18. A guy in the uk did this to his stock bumper. it looked really good.
  19. Thats one of the nicest looking silver supras i have seen. I like this shot:
  20. Nort one i have done but im a reasonably experienced walker. (thats walker ) Get a decent set of walking boots with good ankle support and make sure they are well worn in. Decent socks too. Any time i do long distance walking i tape up my feet using zinc tape mainly because i blister easily, as part of your prep you will find out fairly quickly if you are that type. Take talc with you and blister kits like compede. If you feel hotspots forming on your feet stop and rectify the problem ( prevention is better than cure) In terms of fitness i don't think you need to do too much prep really, just regular walking with the gear you will use for the challenge. Add some hills in to the mix, if your not local to some have regular days away in the brecon beacons or similar to give you some experience of hiking in the hills. Have fun and be thankful we aren't in a high altitude part of the world, 14000 feet plus makes hill walking an interesting propsect
  21. Looking to install a stove in my place at the moment so would be interested in pics. As long as it is wood type logs
  22. Compared to some of your other attempts at photography this is one of your better attempts, its in focus - ish.
  23. Im very good thanks Andrew. How are you ? I bet your really busy at the moment after recent events. Watches are a very personal thing so as long as you like it thats the only thing that matters it is very blingy which suits you well Mr magpie .
