  1. Hi everyone, Got myself a set of uk wheels today Im going to use them strictly as track wheels. Does anybody know what the best tyre setup will be for me to run? Im looking for all out dry grip really. Do i want to go with smaller profile tyres than standard? Do i want to go wider than standard? Does anybody know of good trackday tyres? Am i best getting some form of semi-slicks as i know they are generally really strict on slicks and track conditions! Where do i get them from? Anybody got any ideas for me?
  2. They look wa*k on aftermarket bumpers Im just about to put a do luck on and im not sure what to do either
  3. How would you compare driving the ferarri to the supra? Sorry had to ask!!!

  5. South, mmmmmmmm.............. barnsley sorry
  6. Ive seen writeups saying the new sup will cost over £60000. not everyone will be buying one The sup is always going to be a car that looks better than most others on the road, will always be desirable, will always be expencive to run, insure etc. Cant ever see prices altering that much not for the good ones anyway. Compare it to something like the escort cosworths, same kind of age, pay stupid money for those for the same reasons. Thats what i think anyway
  7. Where in wakefield are you mate? my car will be back out at the beginning of may, ill meet you sometime if you fancy a look/go?

Anyone
  12. Cheers guys, should be able to get a couple of those easily enough
  13. Hi everyone, Sorry to start a thread for this as its a daft question. What is the smallest tyre size width i can put on a 8" wide jap front wheel?? Will something like a 225 go on ok? Dont care about how the car is going to drive or anything like that, im just wanting 2 front tyres that are legal to transport the car somewhere. I can get loads of old tyres but obviously something like a 225 is a lot easier to find than a 245. Anybody help??????
  14. i put a controller on a old rover turbo i used to have. Put it on the wrong actuator pipe and it did exactly the same as your getting. I know ballsoutracing said the same but cheak again. You will get it sorted
  15. I got a letter about a week ago saying i needed another mmr jab as the mumps were going round. Only had one when i was a little one by the sounds. Make sure your up to date on your jabs. If you do get it you may not be able to have any more half hamsters
  16. Jesus !!!! They have to be 21" on the back
  17. Probably got nothing to do with it but i used to have a RS Escort and the alarm used to go off on that randomly. When looked into it turned ot to be water getting into the siren from the bonet vent and setting the alarm off. One of those talking alarms. Just used to start talking in the middle of the night
  18. If i have a single piece decat am i better to fit the resistor ring after the pipe? I never relised that, i just assumed they went by the manifold
  19. I agree, Bottom line, his life is not your problem and im sure you dont really care. only buy an item if you want/ can afford it. Dont pi55 people around. If you know the cost of something why argue. Tell him you have 2 broken arms and cant carry the item to the post office. Im sure he wont care but its just the same.
  20. I would say you would be looking at a good amount. If you have always been on your dads insurance you wont have any no claims so it doesnt really matter how long you have been driving. Im 21 and insure a TT. Im well in 4 figures (starting with a 2 ) with 4 years no claims and 2x sp30`s Dont take me as a good example as i do pay well over the odds due to the fact of me not wanting to change insurance companies half way through a years policy. All been well though i will very soon have my 5 years no claims and might start getting a bit cheaper. Buy a TT (or atleast get quotes for the NA and TT) you will probably find they wont be that much in them. You only issue then is the TT will probably cost more to buy Good luck
  21. There are loads and loads of bad reviews about the place. I have been once and wasnt over impressed. The cars just looked generally tatty which is why they are generally cheap. There is one in this weeks trader 93 TT 6 speed 30000 miles, bodykit, 18"s, coilovers +more. All for £7995. Im sure that everyone will agree. A car with that spec would have to be a real dog for that kind of money. Just my say
