Where would one find the ECU please?

When you`re partially disabled an electric seat is a lot easier than trying to bend down and push the seat back when your missus has just driven it with her nose against the inside of the windscreen.

My mate has an RX7 Type R and he just purchased a set of 18" Blitz Techospeeds without tyres for £800. But he bought them secondhand from Japan. He`s got the silver ones but i prefer the gold ones. Probably the sexiest wheel available.

Brilliant, i now know that it`s the original colour, that it`s an RZ and that it has an LSD. Nice to have an electric drivers seat, i just wish i had the active spoiler.

Done a search on chassis numbers but can`t find what i need. I`m guessing that there might be a way of finding what model my car is through its chassis number. I know it won`t be a GZ but it could be anything after that.

He was moving nearer to his job as it was a 45-50 mile commute each way. As he still lived at home he needed the deposit to get his own place in Lincoln. The car is generally good its just got niggling faults. It has a fuelling problem and has developed a cracking noise from the steering i think. Also when you hold the revs in third low down and then floor it, it coughs and jumps about and just stutters it way through the boost. Its off the road for a month now until i can afford the insurance although if i can sort the problems i might get some temporary insurance and take it to Trax as i`m off there with the GTti owners club.

The car is doing 10mpg when i tootle around off boost and sit at 60 mph. It smells heavily of fuel. I thought there may be a leak but i can find none. So i wandered if a lambda sensor may be gone. I took it to Toyota today and they put it on the diagnostic, but there was no fault codes. So then they put it on the gas analyser. It was fuelling perfectly at idle and up to 2000rpm. They gave it a look over and could find nothing wrong. They suggested that the smell was coming from the tank breather due to the heat evaporating the fuel. Maybe a little bit but not anywhere near to the extent that i would be down to that mpg. So next i took it to Corten Millers to put it on the dyno to see what was coming out of the exhaust but they couldn`t dyno it because they can`t keep Supras strapped into the rollers. So here i am wanting suggestions. MAP sensor? Any help appreciated. By the way is there an online workshop manual as i was quoted £305 today for a cambelt change from Toyota so i`ll give it a crack myself.

Just a quick howdy. Just ploughed every penny the bank would give me to buy my dream car. Been searching for a UK TT6 for ages, but to no avail. So i`ve bought Bigmoistyturbo`s car. Black J-Spec 94 TT6. Wanted a car that i could just drive but its lasted about 6 days and i`m straight into problems. Great.
