Wasnt having a go Nic,just saying that in my opinion the stock hoses are very good(better than anything else ive tried),Will last longer than any silicone pipe ive tried and they only fail due to age-10 years+ (The best silicone hoses i had lasted 5 years,before splitting). still each to their own.

True the hard pipes wont "balloon" but most Silicone pipes that are used to connect the hard pipes,will Balloon,split and Blow off more than the stock pipes ever will.A new set of stock pipes wil last longer than anything else and will hold as much boost as you could possibly need. But they wont shine:d

Dont want to be a kill-joy,but dont get cheap rubber-especially with an auto,spend as much as you can on tyres.

If you dont mind parting with your present car,then sell and buy a TT,cheaper than converting an N/A,more reliable,and cheaper/ easier to fix(than a bolt on turbo kit). Just wait for a good TT-you won't look back;)

RIP Mate, Never met him,but read a few of his posts. So sad to lose someone like that. Well i like the Royal family-i think we need more slightly affected,possibly interbred and very eccentric people representing this country. Lets face it our other fugureheads have been(and still are) slimy politicians. On a serious note,none of us seem to have any pride in our country(cue the racist rants!) apart from possibly our consistently lousy football team. So yeah,fix her house!
