Damm if only my car wasnt at Knight Racer I would be absolutely up for this Suppose it could be a trip in the worlds first Skyline compact

So envious of your lifestyle! Working on cars all day and then being able to work on worthwhile projects in your own spare time, and being far enough away from the cities that you dont have to worry about someone ruining if for "fun". Sure must beat working in an office!
-
Technically its not a full Veilside kit as its missing the spoiler, but most would argue thats a good thing
-
Really annoyed I couldnt make this - hopefully there will be some pictures up soon

My flatmate is actually a 'she' and unfortunately we have those huge wheely bins with the roll back tops so despite my best efforts they are nowhere to be seen Rest in peace little bird dudes . .
-
Just got back from the shops and my flatmate threw them out in the rubbish outside . .
-
Its also 99% likely that the cat is going to get booted if I see it this evening! Ive put them in a tupperware box filled with tissues and left them somewhere warm, at least they won't die alone.

My flatmate's sodding cat has bought in a pair of chicks, both seem a similar type and both still seem capable of movement. They have small feathers on some parts of their body, and two lines in a V shape running down their breast. They also have black eyes that arent opening and funky afro tufts! Simply put, is there anything I can do for the poor fellas, and if not, whats the most humane way of putting them to rest - as I cant see them surviving without help!

I would be tempted but I would have a nightmare trying to find a co-pilot who I would trust with my car . . need to pursuade Marco really -
Not entirely true I'm afraid! With a couple of exceptions the 360 uses a peer to peer server system for multiplayer where as the PS3 uses an actual dedicated server to host the games. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages, mainly tied with how popular a game proves over its lifespan. With a good broadband connection you wouldnt really notice the difference anyway.

Wasnt going to post, but you sir have good taste!

Possibly, but remember no company has ever managed to remain on top in the games industry for more than two generations! If Blueray does win the format war (and its off to a pretty good start) and Microsoft do start using it in the 360 and later consoles, then Sony has already won to a large extent, as they will get royalties from every disk sold.
-
Well its the most successfull launch of any console in history (excluding Sony's own PSP). We got 800000 ready for launch day and shifted 165k in the opening weekend, not bad figures really. Because there were enough units available, theres no shortages, which is a good thing when you look at it, also factor in no Christmas rush . . In case you are wondering, the marketing push is to put them up as "exclusive" purchases atm. Something that Sony learnt the hard way (and Microsoft blundered spectacularly into with the 360 launch) is that if you undercut your own pricing for your previous console you kill it overnight. Since PS2 is still owning the 360 in retail the PS3 can afford to slow burn and allow us to re-coup some development costs from the early adopters, while continuing to build up a solid Blueray user base. The Wii is a great piece of kit (until you get bored of having no games for it) and I own a 360, and it is also a great console. Sony will lose market share this generation, but make no mistake, they will still be top!

I'm running a R34 GT-T at 300ish bhp and I can say that while its expensive to keep it running (alot more reasonable thanks to the excelent Turbo Fit) I wouldnt change it for anything! Over the last 8 months maintainence + things going wrong has worked out at about 300 quid a month, but alot of things that have been replaced should be good for many years to come (touch wood) so I'm hoping the costs should start to fall a bit. I spend a fortune on petrol, it seems very thirsty, but then I do get flames out the back everytime I shift up at full rpm

Out of interest, what problems did you have with LongLife?
-
Damm thats good looking! When I eventually get my arse over to Thailand to see my brother we'll have to meet up so I can see it in person
-
You should all be saving up to buy PS3's and copies of Heavenly Sword common, I need to be able to pay for some upgrades
-
Poor girl is finally starting to lose her marbles Weve all been depressed, but to get to that level and still have the press photograph your every move . . its when people start to do drastic things, remember Kurt
-
And more importantly - are you striping any R34s?
-
Ok, had a couple of minutes spare - and having checked round all the usual insurers, the best price I could get was £3669.49 a year with a £350 quid excess for insurance. To be honest, that actually seems quite cheap to me for a 17 year old with no experience!
-
So who exactly are you planning to get to insure you at the age of 17, with no experience, no NCB, probably on an N/A (import) without parents fronting? It's great to have a dream, but I can honestly tell you that buying cheap alloys off Ebay isnt going to get you closer to it. Simply looking at that as an example, if you don't buy them with tyres as part of a package, you will lose alot of money when it comes to getting the tyres seperately, but if you are buying the alloys with tyres but arent fitting them - you will have tyres that will degrade for a year - it makes no sense . .
-
Ok, seriously - reality check time - you could buy yourself a nice car for the price of the alloys, one you might actually be able to get insured on within the next 5 years! For example, I am currently in the process of buying a mint 200SX S13 for 500 quid with tax and ticket for 6 months as a second car. It's more than fast enough for a first car, its not group 20 and it is RWD, so something like that would surely be ideal for you? IMO you really shouldnt be buying alloys for a car you don't own, you should be out having fun and enjoying yourself!

Could get up to some serious trouble with some of those, just walk into an internet cafe and install them on machines when no one is looking. Come back at the end of the week and see how many email/bank/forum accounts you could access - not good
-
Would you recommend Lansoprazol over Omeprazole, as I'm on that at the moment and its not so effective
-
I'll be very supprised if he gets any serious time. After all, a week doesnt go past when a drunk, illegal immigrant, driving a car with no tax/MOT/insurance mows down a family outside a school and gets away with a fine It's all very well screaming CHILD KILLER!!!, but honestly, we don't know the conditions, it could have been on the A1 at 4 in the morning (ala Smokey's Supra run) with no other cars in sight. Anyway, I think its fair to say that very few people on this board are completely innocent when it comes to high speed runs . .
