  1. Hey would you think Fords Formula s synthetic oil 5w-40 is ok for a standard J-spec TT...dont think i will be doing any track days in it and its mostley used on motorways... Cheers
  2. You can buy this stuff from most motor factors and halfords i believe....had some years ago to glue a calibra one on...they usually come with a fine gauze material and the adhesive. Oh i did get some stuff to stick a metal bracket back onto my oven door(glass) and that has worked well too 3 months and still on! uni-bond repair extreme(black and yellow packet) from focus diy store. good luck.

  9. just a guide these can be bought for £139 new....second hand and crashed!? half price maybe more realistic....starter heli's try a twister bell 47 much easier to fly...good luck with the sale...might be able to shift it to a guy at work will ask him tomorrow.

    Engine turn-off

    Hows your clutch control;) Check your earths to the body as well as the batt terminals. Does the ignition still light up or is it as if someone has just disconnected the battery?

  13. Not that their too expensive just got a lot of hols early next year...Hawaii in Jan...USA late Jan...France Feb....Denmark march...st lucia April...France again in July...and the house is sucking up my funds too. No rush though i have just got the supe:D
  14. i have done Prague too...very nice place 3 days is plenty of time, amsterdam is booked up for march for a weekend lots to see their too not just coffee shops and sex shows although their worth a look if your into that..for the more sophisticated there are river cruises and Ann franks house van gough museum and much more good shops and you can do the train in about 45 mins from the airport.If you choose Prague use the train system to get about its easy and cheap.
  15. morning....he he no hangover for me! Ive tried that fruit one from sainsburys too, comes in a big bottle....that's handy...hmmm nice. Now you might think iam sick but i love red wine and coke 50/50 with ice......it's a chech drink and has a name new zealand spritzer!?

  18. Just left a message on marks thread...have a look might help, you should know if its a wheel bearing as it will humm and get loader the faster you go...start simple it costs less!
  19. Hi mark, check the rear calipers are not starting to seize up wind them back and pump back out a few times clean the hangers that the pads sit in to to stop the pads getting stuck. If the brake fluid looks dirty change that too as this was probably the main cause of the calipers seizing up. What the disc run out like check this with a dti gauge. Cant remember the set up for the handbrake shoes...rule of thumb is slacken off the handbrake cable and then adjust the shoes until they lock then back off a few clicks so they rotate freely then adjust the cable still checking that no rubbing occurs. I had a problem once with a knocking from the rear/diff area sound really bad so much so i stopped on the motorway expecting to find something hanging off and funny it only seemed to be really bad on on certain roads anyway it ended up being a wheel working loose due to some knob nut leaving a spacer off the inside center(hub) of one of the wheels(after market fitment). Hope you get it sorted...
