I occasionally get the keyboard slowing but pretty infrequently. As for safari, I never use it as I much prefer to use an app called Opera Mini. Never had any issues with that as a browser.

I have a 3gs on 5.0.1 and have no crashing issues with it. Mind you, I had not used it on the previous software to compare speeds with.
