I get "worked up" as you put it when my professionalism and customer service are brought into question by someone who has never had any dealings with me. You stated that you thought the traders of the forum should be brought into the real world. As a trader that included me. Oh, and the rolling eyes are a pretty useless get out when you are in the wrong eh?

I think the biggest problem with the Itrader rating system is not a fear of reprisal but the obvious apathy amongst the majority of members and traders to use it all.

Once again your use of the term "traders on this club" pisses me off as that now includes me personally. I have probably bought more goods off traders on the forum than almost anyone else and I consider myself to very much in the real world. Your continuous vitriolic attack on traders (myself included) is both patronising and condescending. My advice to you would be to buy off whoever you wish to and complain about that transaction and trader if necessary. Please don't mouth off at every given opportunity and tar us all with the same brush.

My Defi fuel pressure gauge definitely increased in pressure as to the rate of boost. I remember that, as I once had a problem with the FPR and the rate wasn't rising with the boost pressure.

I am a little confused by that. I used mine to check that the rate of pressure was rising at the same(ish) rate of boost. Are you saying that isn't the case?

Well, whilst the stock water temp gauge isn't brilliant, it is there so I would discount that as you are otherwise just duplicating. Due to such variances in EGT readings (dependant on the fitting point), I am not too sure just how much use that would be on a day to day basis (plus I was never sure exactly what to do if they went high ). I always felt that as the fuel pressure was such an important part of the car running correctly (and safely) then that was one I would have defo gone for. Surprisingly, Dude thought so too

Don't you think you are taking this crusade too far mate? TBH, I could not give a flying feck whether you had to wait a long time for a price. If I want to purchase something, I will ask for a price and then decide if my request was answered promptly. Your past experience of waiting for a price would not put me off at all.

TBH, I think that is the dumbest thing I have read in a while. How can you leave a negative trading rating for someone who isn't trading with you? If you do that it will make a complete mockery of the rating system.

Nope, the 95 will be fine for the NA car. It is normally the TT that you would need the higher octane rating.

This is a real PITA! I agreed a sale with a trader and was due to pick the car up just after Christmas. I had failed to get hold of the guy and when i finally did, he tells me that his brother now wanted the car and so all deals were off! Joker eh?
