  1. The date has now changed to the following week the 28th. I can't update the title until I get home later.
  2. I would assume so my friend. They organise dyno days every for night or so and I would therefore expect them to know what they are doing.
  3. I didn't ask anyone to be honest. I posted up on the forum asking for support and future motorsports contacted me direct.
  4. No worries. If its anything like the day we had at Austec it will be ace!
  5. I agree - one of the good guys of the forum. GLWS.
  6. I am a member of the AA but just had a look on the RAC site and they have quoted me £47.50 for a basic single trip with (what looks like to me anyway) all the cover I need. Am I missing something?

    Insurance claim

No. It was in response to your comment that insurance companies are rip off merchants. I just wanted to point out that it is not helped by the other kind of rip off merchants - those who claim for imaginary injuries. There have been several instances in the past whereby members have been advised to do that very thing - not by you I hasten to add - and so we end up reaping what we sow.
  8. Thanks Martyn - let me know if you need me to do anything.

    Insurance claim

As are those that claim for whiplash and other related injuries that they say occurred from minor incidents - and yet it doesn't stop many members on here advocating the same approach if a fellow member was involved. We reap what we sow eh?
  10. I am looking to organise another charity dyno day on Saturday April 28th at Future Motorsports, Leicester, (Syston, Leicester LE7 1LD. The day will consist of power runs priced at just £20 with all proceeds going to the Macmillan Cancer Support charity. There will also be a raffle (no online trickets for this one), pro photographers and video guys present and probably young ladies to tempt you to part with money. The operator is also hopeful of getting reps from Toyota, Nissan, HKS and Eibach to come along and chat about their products as they already attend a monthly dyno meet at Future Motorsports called VAG v JDM which currently attracts 100 - 150 cars. As the premises are on an industrial estate, parking is not a problem. This event will be open to any make and model and I will be advertising it on IMOC and MR2OC again. If you know other forums that would be interested then please post there too. The start time will be approximately 10.00 and will finish at around 18.00. 1. CJ
  11. I have spoken to a dyno operator at Leicester who has regular dyno days / evenings and has offered to host a charity day (where Macmillan gets all the money) on the 22nd April. I will post up a new thread in Supra chat and see what interest there is.
  12. I have been approached by another dyno operator from Leicester who is prepared to donate 100% of the takings on the day to Macmillan. Are there any members from Leicester interested?
  13. If you could that would be ace. Thank you very much.
  14. I've already been looking at ferries and the like. Now we just need to find a dyno operator who fancies the idea.
  15. Do you know them personally my friend?
  16. Oh yes - I forgot. I will alter it now to show; 5. Give dude a driving lesson
  17. I know your game - you just want to see me in a wet tee shirt
