  1. I'm looking at a set of wheels on ebay and the seller is adamant he will not use a courier or even pack them, it's a 700+ mile round trip for me to go and pick them up, so i was just looking to see if there is any members who can recommend me anyone for Bradford-Cornwall Cheers
  2. Update - So the V5 has come through and its pretty bare bones but the VIN is there and its a JZA80, but i thought comparison sites used the DVLA database to pull the cars info when you typed your reg into them? I'm guessing my best bet is to just ring up an insurer direct to avoid this?
  3. .... Was looking at different wheels and wrote the wrong thing.... pudseys wheels are too plain for my tastes and yours are black. My supra is silver my mistake.
  4. Not for me mate not keen on black on silver. Still looking.
  5. Believe it or not i actually get a higher premium using the reg (£1100) then manually entering a RZ(£770), regarding the HPI it just says supra 3.0, the VIN and VRN both match up. I dont have much info on the previous owner as it was sold on behalf of him via a club member and i never met him, all i know is that he had a horrible taste in wheels. Regarding the V62 my HPI shows the car as 1 owner and i have paper work showing 2 previous owners, so all i can assume is he never bothered sending off for a new V5C.
  6. Yeah it was sold on behalf of someone else, logbook was lost, I've ran i through HPI and it came through clear Vin is 2JZ-GTE so the car is correct.
  7. the Vin is A340E A02A so its definitely an auto then... is it something to do when it was imported?
  8. So this is what i get when i enter my reg into comparison websites, Registration N424FKJ Manufacturer TOYOTA Model SUPRA SZ (NON TURBO) Body style Coupe Year 1995 Transmission Manual Fuel type Petrol Engine size 3000 The car is actually a TT Auto and it's causing huge problems for me, i get quotes in the range of £1100-1200 on this if i manually put the in car as a 3 door RZ i get £770, but when i speak to said insurer to process this as soon as i give them registration they tell me there has been an error and they can no longer give me said quote. Sky wouldn't even quote me and flux wanted £1337 (29yrs old passed at 26 2 yr NCB, no accidents just canceled a policy early and lost 1 year of no claims) which is extortionate. Part of me thought maybe someone changed it but for the costs of putting in a GTE and a autobox and the rest of the auto bits, surely it would of been cheaper and alot more logical to just buy the TT auto surely? I brought the car from a club member and trust his knowledge of the car 100% the car came with the V62 and am currently awaiting a new V5 to maybe shed some light on whats going on, any information or advice would be hugely appreciated Thanks Dan
  9. I'm looking for a set of wheels for my supra it's got the UK spec brakes so anything that has a 8 inch inner radius inside would be ideal, I was looking to get new but just found out me and the wife have to pay 6k stamp on a house we are buying, so my wheels and bpu are out the window....
  10. I tried to get a quote from sky for my 95 TT auto RZ and they wouldn't even offer me a single quote
  11. I've spoke with crash and he said he's gonna sort the mot out and hold out for a better offer. Thanks for the heads up though
  12. Hi, Looking for a Mk4 supra i have a budget of 12k~ would ideally like a TT as i know i'm just in the awkward gap as i'm just under average TT price and over NA, this would be my 1st supra so clean and rust free is a must, mileage and year not so much as long as its in good condition. Colour doesn't matter to me. Kind Regards Dan

    Hi New Member

hey thanks for the reply i'm not interested in paying for a UK spec supra there is a TT auto in classifieds for 14k and open to offers right now, maybe your pricing is a little too high? maybe once i have more knowledge in the car and if circumstances change etc a manual could be an option. Better to have TT auto then nothing http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?349459-1995-TT-AUTO-89k-miles
  14. Hi Long time admirer of supras will be looking to buy one in the up coming months, i currently have a gen 7 celica and have never had a RWD car before i did think about buying a NA just to learn how the car drives and go from there but i will probability have a budget of 10-14k so i'm really tempted to just go straight to a TT and treat it with respect, my friend had a 350z and within a week spun it out and sold it lol and i don't intend on doing anything like this. I've looked at prices but i know people generally like to overprice their cars most as a deterrent to even sell them as with a supra, easily understandable. So what should i be looking for with this budget realistically, i live in Cornwall so i'm never gonna have the intention of adding BHP as there's no where to use it lol and i also prefer the car looking stock as possible thanks.
