  1. Performance wise it's on par with my Evo, In fact there was literally nothing in it on a few 6 gear pulls on the motorway on the way home. Slower than the Cossie by a reasonable margin. But God is it great to drive. Been out for a bit of hoon with Baldy tonight to my local RS owners meet. Traction light on in 4th wasn't expected haha. But it was a touch damp on that stretch. Such a pleasure to drive. Very stable platform at speed, but so comfortable and easy to cruise in. I'm in love. So pleased with it. A great base car to build on thanks to Matt!! Oh it will be very well taken care of! It will be going at some point in the near future hopefully for a full correction detail, few marks around the car I want sorted, but then I'm fussy(although most will say that anyway) just want her looking her best. First up is better pads up front, started losing the pedal on my drive back, but then that's redstuff I guess. Good pads, just 1500kgs and som heavy braking took them over the edge. (Although need to check with Matt what fluid he's got in her and well wether it was all flushed when brakes were swapped, but doubt I've boiled fluid) And a decent set up/corner weighting session and tweak of damping I think. 19" catch arch liners occasionally and feels a tad soft up front. Feedback through the Nardi wheel is, well there's a lot haha! Bit off putting over bumps.
  2. So. It's has its first wash Few little bits sorted(minor stuff as Matt's kept her in very good condition) Driver mirror clipped back in place securely Drivers wiper(with spoiler) fitted the correct way round - wasn't fun in the rain at high speed haha. Faster I got, worse they worked. Intake pipe has rubbed slightly in bonnet sound deadening, adjusted to clear. Overspray cleared from side pods. So far a good 700km covered in her and all going well. Absolutely love it!! Side pods after Going to try and really keep on top of this thread, I normally forget to up date stuff so Thanks for reading so far
  3. Posted my thread up.but I'm Happy to share a few more haha!
  4. Found one [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
  5. Rained all morning annoyingly. Just want to go get it out and give it a clean.
  6. So after an 18 hour day, last minute rush to a bank in York, a nearly 800 mile round trip, £250 in fuel, getting stuck in traffic on the M25(not fun with this clutch) and walking in at midnight last night. I can now proudly say I'm officially a Supra owner. :-) I wong take pictures of her sat tucked away(security for my unit for one, but) I think most would cry, spent most of my drive back in the rain, avoided some big puddles, mullered more flies than I can face going to clean today. She's looking a bit sorry for herself. But what can I say!? How much fun are these!!! The noise is awesome, (not so much the clutch. But hey, as my young cousin would say, Because Racecar haha!!) Such a comfortable cruiser, had a good play against my Evo, had traction light kick in in 5th, saw 140+ to easily! Over the moon. She's a credit to her owner, a lovely, well prepared car that really looks to have been looked after well. Thanks for reading my first official post as an owner, I'm off to get the cleaning gear out :-) Tom
  7. It has been mentioned. Could have bought an Auto and a manual that way lol
  8. Tbh I have my eye on 3 cars at the moment. So getting close. Just have to try and work out which is the best value car now. Budget dropped a bit with the wedding coming up but hopefully next few weeks will see me behind the wheel of a Supra. Trying to go through specs. What bits I want, what they have for future plans but most importantly the quality of the base car itself. Best looked after etc. Been stung in the past vying modded cars so being extra careful this time! Fingers crossed
  9. Nice!!! If only it were Manual!!!! GLWTS buddy!!!
  10. Was never sure I wanted an AeroTop after hearing of the 'wobble' But it does look nice!
  11. Ahhhh! Thanks Chris Finding 'the' car is proving really hard. The nice bits are, well nice to have but I'm most worried about getting the best base car I can. Then hopefully it'll have some goodies on too. I think I'd be happy at BPU but in my head I'm going to go single anyway, buying a singles car could be more cost effective.
  12. looked at all the pictures I can, they all look like they have a little overspray there. Are the shocks going t be an issue if there fairly new(3000km new) In my head I thought being Ohlin, at least if your risking any coilover failing(Tein are fairly common to leak on the Evo's apparently) at least they were bloody good ones. Turbo wise I thought theres been quite a few cars running that single set up? Yeah defo a shame about the rear brakes, but im sure at some point I can look for some, but being Grex Alcon calipers probably impossible to find knowing my luck.
  13. I don't follow. Is there that much more? Similar turbo kit? Worse shocks/brakes Higher mileage Is VVTi/facelift I thought they'd be about on par. Pros/cons for both? This isn't meant to knock James car. Just trying to decipher everything in my head lol
  14. White one I was looking at looked similar
  15. No. Not in person mate, I assumed that was just factory finish to be honest.
  16. Unusually good as in worryingly clean?
  17. Looks properly clean underneath Turbo kit/shocks have only covered 3000km As far as I can tell. I like James car but there's a big difference in price and I also know his has been driven in the U.K./Scotland as a daily from what I can gather. Not knocking his car but Scotland isn't famous for its pleasant winters lol.
  18. Hey again All Another one up for sale I quite like. Any thoughts please!! http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/supra/700-bhp-rz-supra-priced-to-sell/5135091?v=b#/home
  19. What would that be like on a standard VVTi car? With supporting mods would be required? Injectors Fuel lines/pump ECU - piggyback or standalone Cams?
  20. Sorry the first one? The silver one on eBay posted by Annabella?
