Hi, Is there any interest in showing their car at the NEC Classic Motor Show in November at the NEC? We are still looking for 2 cars. We need to finalise the cars soon so we can get organised with the literature and hotel rooms etc. If you are interested please can you let me know by close of day Sunday 14th August 2022. I know it can be expensive. More expensive than previous years this year. But it is a good social weekend as a group. We always go home shattered but it is a cracking experience. We use it as one of our weekends away. Even when our car isn't included. As Darren said you will get to see the show for free and also allowed entrance 1hr before opening and after closing so you can see lots without the public there.

There must be some cracking Mk4 Supra sat in your garages. Why not show it at the Nec Classic Motor Show in November. The biggest club stand Show in the UK. Its all inside. Let me know what you got. So far noone has asked to join the stand.

Hi, We are looking for one possibly two cars for the NEC Classic Motor Show on Friday 11th November - Sunday 13 November 2022. You will need to bring your car on Thursday 10th November in the afternoon and will not be able to move your car until approx 6.30pm to 7pm on the Sunday. We also need the owner to stay with the car and help to man the stand for the duration of the show. The public like to talk to the owner of the car about is history and what has been modified etc.. You will be provided with free tickets for the event and parking ticket if needed. We do have 2 spare double hotel rooms booked at the Arden Hotel & Leisure Club, should anyone need them or feel free to book your own, but space is very limited now with nearby hotels. The price for 3 night is £429.30. breakfast is extra. This is the best prices we could get at the time of booking in May. It is a cracking event to attend, we also have a good laugh at the event, it is very tiring, early morning starts, leave the show about 6pm, have a meal/drinks together. What we are looking for: We are looking for either of the following: 1. Mint UK Spec Stock Car or Mint stock N/a Car. 2. A Mint "Show Stopper" Car. Can be modified ie single turbo, higher BHP, liveried etc. The car must be in Mint condition. Please can you send close up pictures of all sides of the car and interior to me and any other history of the car. Also, please confirm that you will be able to attend for the whole duration of the show and if you need one of the hotel rooms. We will make a decision by mid to End of August which cars will be offered a place. The decision will not be made by me but by the rest of the team that are involved with the NEC Show. We will need to make a decision based upon the fit with the other cars already in the show, so we can portray as wide a spectrum of the Supra that we can. So if you are not chosen, it isn't a reflection on you or the car but the fit with the rest of the stand. We currently have a Blue Twin Turbo, and possibly a black UK Spec and White Facelift Twin Turbo We cannot offer everyone a place as we have 2 places maximum. We are pleased to confirm that the MKIV Supraowners has again been offered a stand at the NEC Classic Motor Show at NEC, Birmingham which takes place on Friday 11th - Sunday 13th November. We are still in the process of organising so cannot say what vehicles we will be displaying as yet. There will be a post in the Members section of the Forum with our club Discount code. We are in Hall 5 this year, next to the Sporting Bears Stand and close to the LIve Stage. Jackie

It's a well looked after supra. Just not got the use of her that she deserves the last few years. She wasn't really for sale, it was just a chance offer. We know the new owner will look after her and that's part of the reason we let her go. Glad he is happy with her too. Be good to see her out and about again. We just traded our other car in too and bought a Mk5 Jaramo Ltd Edition Supra in Horizon blue. So we'll still be involved with the club.

Well we sold it to him and the side skirts have been on the car as long as we have had it. We and others have said they were an optional extra from new. But we may be wrong

The side skirts are not TRD, they are OEM sideskirts. If you look you'll find a do-luck rear diffuser too.

Hi, I have just sent everyone an email who has registered for the day an email with details. Seems Hatton Country World have introduced parking charges since last year, so I'm told we have to pay £2 parking charge before the end of Sunday for anyone attending. £100 fines if not paid. This is Hatton Country World not the MR2 Drivers club. Looking forward to catching up with everyone. See you there Jackie
