  1. Me and my other half will definitely be going
  2. I'd be up for going again this year, didn't get to speak to many of you this year
  3. My TT6 import was only £50 more than doing the quote as a UK TT6, elephant were cheapest for me when I was 19 on my EVO they seem to help out the younger car enthusiasts
  4. I got mine fully resprayed in the same colour for £1000 and it's a flawless finish and currently enquiring about a full window out respray and he's quoted £2000 unless I go for a stupidly expensive paint which I am thinking about
  5. Id like a set too if you could drop me a pm
  6. Not sure of exact name as it came with it from Japan looks pretty standard apart from the intercooler ducting is exposed and the 'mouth' is slightly taller than a standard bumper, thanks guys I'll start looking into getting a new 4" intercooler, mine will be up for sale once I've actually got round to doing it I'm currently just collecting all the parts I'll need to do it all in one go, another question whilst I've got your attention will the standard inlet manifold be upto the job or will I need to uprate that as well?
  7. Well I've got a precision 6466bb so that's capable of around 900 but I'm wanting to be around the 750 mark so it's safe as houses, so do you think it may be out of its league?
  8. Quick question guys starting to collect parts for my single build and wonder if I need to change my intercooler, it's a trust intercooler but unsure of which model it is (it was on when it came from Japan) it's dimensions are 3" X 24" X 12" just wondering if I actually need to uprate this or if it's already big enough as it's completely intact no fins bent or damaged. Thanks for any help
  9. I'll have a look at them both, appreciate all the feedback, I just don't want another dreadful clutch like I did in my EVO it was like a switch it was horrendous in traffic
  10. I'll have a look pal thanks, just read a lot of reviews about the os giken some of the guys in the states have ran the triple plate ones at 900bhp for 20-30k miles obviously not hammering the crap out of them with launches and such but I don't really do that either. The triple plate ones are rated at 1000bhp

    New clutch

Evening, my clutch has just started slipping on my TT6 this afternoon and am wanting to replace it, I've been looking about and im thinking about the os giken twin/triple plate clutch as I've heard they're very close to oem feel, at the moment I'm running around the 500bhp mark but within the next 18 months im wanting to take it to around 800bhp so may as well future proof the car now in your guys opinion which would be the better clutch? Or if you have any other suggestions I'd love to hear them thanks
  12. It's probably been covered somewhere on here but I've looked for 30 minutes to no avail. Is it possible to split the front indicators to remove the orange in them? Or is there an easier solution? I have the chrome bulbs already and have taken the units of the car they look a bit more sturdy than the lights I've previously split on an EVO 9, rather get advice before I go blundering in and possibly doing irreversible damage. It's a facelift car Thanks
  13. I stuck my membership card in the window of my car, I had emailed you Steve about meeting up but it failed to send and I didn't realise until I was about to leave a few of my Mrs friend's were there on a different stand so I was dragged there most the day
  14. Hi guys, Think I may be going to the Zandvoort japfest, just wondered if anyone else was going and if we received a club discount as it says on the website that car club members get a discount. Thanks guys
  15. Great pictures, surprised my alarm didn't go barmy when you touched the bonnet usually goes apesh*t if you touch it.
  16. Was a great day, don't know why I came over all shy and hid away I think it was because my car is only a baby compared to some of your beasts. I will make sure I come talk to people next time
  17. Is everyone meeting up before we get to Silverstone or are we just going in individually?
  18. That's good to know may just run the A03b until it goes bang, what power is yours running if you don't mind me asking
  19. Mine has the non vvti engine, facelift dash, recaros, pre facelift steering wheel proper mish mash by Toyota, what specs do you mean mate I just know it's stamped as A03b or is there something else stamped up? The aim is around 700whp mark
  20. Looks like im joining a queue here haha but id love tickets as well if anyone else drops out, only just managed to get the weekend off work
  21. Mine has the side markers on the front and wings aswell, feel like I've got the crap end of the deal seen as the B03b is the diff that I need when I start chasing horsepower
  22. Hi guys, From all the tech specs I've read from the factory the V160 gearbox was mated to the B03b differential and the V161 was mated to the A03b diff, my car is stamped up on its plate as having the V160 but it's stamped as being the A03b diff any ideas as to why? Thanks
  23. Got mine aswell today thanks Steve
