Hi, I have just installed TRL FCD into my car and I started her up but the idle is going up and down and if you put your foot on the accelerator and let it off, then it stalls. Whats happened? Is this a result of resetting the ecu when I unplugged the battery? will it go back to normal? Paul.

Sorry, I dont trust anyone with my car! What if they bugger the turbo elbow studs up? then I'm buggered! I've just talked myself out of it. I'll wait til CW is available! Paul.

Come and do it for me then mate I dont fancy doing it with the car on axle stands in the road! I havent got the luxury of a garage or anything. The can be a PITA anyway if the bolts have seized and there wouldnt be much room to maneuver to drill them out. Paul.

Hi, I need a CW de-cat pipe fitting. Chris is busy at the moment and cant get my car on his ramps to do it. I've got an FCD already and I'll fit that tonight. Can anyone recommend a trusted and experienced garage in the N/W or midlands that could fit the pipe?? Otherwise I'll just wait til Chris is free! Cheers, Paul.

Hi, How do I set the boost cut level on my TRL VFCC?? I've checked on the TRL site and there are no instructions for this. Any help appreciated. Paul.

Hi, I just came back from the JapUK car meet at Mascarat Manor. As I pulled off of a slip road something wierd happened. I accelerated quite hard in 4th and it felt like the rear drivers side of the car went down and there was a slight pull to one side. This happened twice more on the way home, the last time I was in 5th and accelerated - again the same thing. I stopped thinking it might be a flat tyre or something, but they were all OK. I pulled off again and floored it.....everything seems fine again. What the hell was that??? Paul.

Hi, so all these stories i've heard about a big single turbo making the car 'undrivable' on the road arent true then? I have always shyed away from big turbo's because of this! Paul.

Hi, I've just been reading a thread on the MR2 owners club forum. they are arguing about stopping distances (60mph-0mph) of MR2's against bikes - I for one think that a bike would be able to out brake any car because of the weight?? But I dont ride bikes so I could be wrong! Anyway, does anyone know the stopping distances of a mkiv j-spec supra TT and a UK TT? For that matter what are the stopping distances of a tubby? What are the stopping distances of popular bikes? Paul.
