Anyone fancy ringing Pete Betts and asking him to explain the figures? He definately said that the figure was at the wheels, not at the crank. But, it does say at the flywheel on the dyno sheet! Paul.

I've got full de-cat, FMIC, induction kit, RSR exhaust, HKS bov. May have hybrids but we arent sure! I was runing 1.13 bar to get 360bhp at the wheels. Paul.

Really? hmm..I'm doubting the figures now as well then. That means mine is making 432 at the flywheel (assuming 20% loss at wheels) This does sound high! Paul.

Hi, I thought the figures sounded about right. With all the mods on my car, I would expect to get 350bhp, It registered as 360bhp. Dont think that is unreasonable. These cars are 326bhp at the hubs as standard. Paul.

It was a good day. Was good to meet a few new faces. My car was running well. I managed to get 360bhp at the hubs at 1.13 bar. Just need to sort out my fueling so I can go upto 1.2 bar safely! was worth the trip. Thanks to pete for doing this for us. Jake - your welcome mate. Cheers, Paul.

I'm coming from the opposite direction! Anyone want to drive with me from j15 of the M6?? I'm lookinf forward to this....I'm hoping Pete will have time to take about 1mm off of my restrictor so I can get 1.2 bar!! I'm only getting 1.1 at the moment Paul.

Hi gaz. Cheers. I need the oil for early tomorrow morning, so I'm going to have to go somewhere and buy some quickly. I'll order some from you for the next time though. So which is it 5w50 or 5w30? I've noticed that it say's 5w30 on my engine? Paul.

The plugs are in good condition. They have been in the car for around 3k miles. I didnt clean them, just re-gapped. Iridium plugs are next on my list, I just havent got around to buying them yet! Paul.

I like that explenation...it sounds like what is happening. There was a tiny bit of missfiring before I changed the gap when the car was cold. I can check the boost every day, yes. Theres no guarantee that the air temp is going to be the same everytime though - I havent got anything to measure it. I've checked today already and the cars hitting 1.1 bar today too. Paul.

The car has been hitting 1bar boost since the cats were taken out immediately until I re-gapped the plugs. I then drove the car straight away after and I was getting 1.1 bar boost. Unless the air temp changed by a couple of degrees in 25 minutes then I doubt it was that! There must be some connection between the extra boost and the plugs, any more ideas?? Paul.

Care to elaborate on why I cant use platinum plugs? I've just got cheap NGK's in there at the moment. Paul.

Hi, After having my cats out and a restrictor ring fitted to my car I was only getting 1bar. I got fed up with this today and whipped the plugs out and re-gapped them from 0.8mm to 0.9mm, I'm now getting 1.1 bar! Is this normal? Would I get further gains if I got some iridium/platinum plugs and put them in? Cheers, Paul.
