I just got pulled doing 90 in a 60 [emoji19] On the A40 just after the national speed limit ended, 1am with no one else on the road. I was in an Alfa not the Supra. The police car was hiding on a slip road, it had red flashing lights which I've never seen before? [emoji53] Anyway I think that just squeezes me into the band B, looks like I'll be in for a few points and 100% fine [emoji35] lucky I am commission based so my basic wage is pretty low, surely they can only go by basic wages. The copper did say that having a clean license will be taken into account, I'm also hoping the fact it was the middle of the night might count for something. I was just about to slow down to 50 for an average speed zone! Noticed the red flashing lights as I checked my rear view before I braked. Really annoyed at myself! I hardly ever speed unless it's clearly not going to endanger anyone else, like an empty 3 lane A road at 1am. I just wanted to get home. I'm also annoyed getting caught by a sneaky car sitting behind a wall, scanning the odd car that drives past every 5 minutes. Purely a money maker [emoji35] I guess we will see what happens when I get a letter in 6-8 weeks.

I found out the film used on my lights was Suntek Clear which is the self healing stuff. I will still wax them every so often just to be sure but it should still help the lenses stay perfect. http://www.suntekfilms.com/paintprotection/suntek-window-paint-protection.aspx Tarted up my engine bay a little yesterday with a strut brace and a sticker to represent where most of my money has gone lately [emoji23] No doubt some real engine bling will come eventually but I think it looks pretty good now.
