  2. I'm confused. There have been so many threads saying tt manuals are 16k+ in the UK. Isn't 10k a low figure then even with that mileage?

  5. I'm pretty sure you are wrong. I've been to an injection molding factory and the cost for molds are nowhere near that figure.in any case, I'll be meeting with a factory rep in 2 weeks and will see what happens.
  6. The cost would be in the molds.the machinery is already there. I'm giving it to a factory that already manufactures headlights
  7. Hello all Recently purchased 2 sets of used pre face headlights off the forum. Reason for this is I want to manufacture options with regards to headlights for our cars. Purpose for offering this would be to lower the cost as changing/refurbing headlights is a popular mod. The option of Full headlight assembly oem style with 1.either plastic or glass lense. 2.The lense could be oem with lines or completely clear. 3.the inner backing will be black like face lift lights. 4.park light delete or leave it as is All this is depending on what the cost is to manufacture. So what do we think. Would there be Interest in a product like this?
  8. My first car project ever is my supra and im 31.i have never worked mechanically on vehicles before other than basic servicing. Up till about 3 years ago I didn't even know what a manifold was. No jokes! I am undergoing my nat conversion and doing most work myself. Mapping will be by a pro. I refuse to pay a shop to do something I can do myself. If it all goes tits up at some point then I only have myself to blame.

  11. Ok so I started stripping the car. I'm trying to do everything myself using info off the forums and Web. I'm a complete novice and I believe if I can do it then anybody can. If things go pear shaped I'm going to burn the car and call it a day[emoji16] I plan on doing my own na-t how to guide. I already started it and will open a new thread for it when I'm done with my car. Pics of my car as it stands now outside my house. It's been like this for at least a month.
  12. On order at the moment are my intercooler pipes. They are universal and will be modified to fit. Also on order is the oil return flange for the sump. Once it gets here I can drill the sump. Not a job I'm looking forward to.

XSpower T61 NA-T turbo kit kit for 2jzge these kits have mixed reviews and at the price, im willing to take the chance to push it to see the limits. anywhere between 500BHP and 700BHP ill be happy and will stop there. 8) the manifold is braced and quite thick and sturdy but time will tell how it holds up. does look rather nice.
  15. purchased the ffg to start the NA-T conversion. i will be doing most work myself; XSPOWER T61 NA-T kit AEM EMS v2 standalone (used) MODEL NUMBER 30-6101 AEM UEGO wideband (used) MODEL NUMBER 30-4100 AEM TRU BOOST boost guage and boost controller (used) MODEL NUMBER 30-4350
  16. car went back in to a 3rd body shop to have the oem bumpers put on and resprayed. ill be keeping it oem as i hate the maintenance factor of FRP. will add a front lip at some point. either the active spoiler or an rmm lip or similiar. very very disappointed with the outcome as i would love to have my supra in an aggressive bodykit style but just not worth the hassle of dealing with fibreglass and im not going to pussy foot my car around just for the sake of the bumpers. Mind the dirty state of my car. I took it out of my warehouse after a few months.
  17. things looked good for about a week. then i started to notice cracking where the rear was blended. the front bumper was too low and caught everything and started cracking. the skirts were loose. overall not happy so i ditched the kit.

  19. Seat and hood lining reupholstered. new gear gaitor cover and handbrake cover i have since sold the seats which, in hindsight, was a stupid move because they were very comfy. i currently have some cheap crappy aftermarket seats in.
