Thanks to those members that offered help! I have now acquired my diff locally....

Hiya Thanks for the pics.... I think the driveshafts are OK....but can check when dismantled. Symptoms: very noisy grinding noise from diff case, when whhels jacked up and driven via autobox, but noticeably from o/s on overun. The one N/S wheel spins properly at speed whereas the O/S is much less responsive to spinning, but does on throttling! The main noise appears to come from the diff, using a stethescope, and I believe the side gear is damaged internally. No noises when road driving! So, I'll take the diff anyway.... Courier charges are approx £38 for 45Kg wt If you advise address details and PayPal A/C...I'll arrange money TFR Also the daybs when courier can collect...times cannot be guaranteed as you may be aware.. cheers Roly

Car has been perfect...removed steering wheel to check horn not working....on return hour later, turned ign key, but no ignition or EML light? Depressed footbrake and gearlever in P will not move, as expected, with no ignition Checked battery - fully charged All fuses OK inc EFI etc. Any ideas please?
