  1. Didn't like the way it felt. They just felt coarse compared to what I was used to. Offset on the Supra is the TTE Borbet grandstand wheels running 245 front and 285 rear Samdale - I felt the same as you when I'd only used Tein suspension, but every car I've owned has had a set of Meister R coilovers on. The GT-1 really are something else, more comfortable than my IS250 in normal driving and incredibly good if I stiffen them up a bit for some harsher driving. I also have some upgraded rollbars and a 1.5 way diff on my car (which were fitted when the Bilsteins were on) and it's a very pleasant driving experience.
  2. I thought they were crap. The ride felt vastly inferior to my previous cars, all of which have had coilovers on. I also missed having adjustable dampers.
  3. I heard good things too, then I drove around with them for a while and took them off.
  4. Add the Meister-R GT-1 to that list; absolutely fantastic kit and vastly superior to the Bilstein shocks I took off.
  5. Edit: long story short: 6 cylinder TT is a 6 cylinder TT. Edit 2: And no, the new GTR is orders of magnitude better than any skyline that came before it.
  6. I agree with you there, the LC500 already comes with a v6 option and 8 speed, all they needed was some money into the chassis and turbo development for the 3.5L GR engine.
  7. I've come back round to thinking it doesn't matter how good this car is, it may well be amazing, but Toyota should have called it something else. The only problem with this car is the name. The MKIV wasn't about the specs at the end of the day, it was about what it stood for; Toyota going completely balls out ridiculous and seeing how far they could push an idea. I really think they should have saved the name for something that had the heart of a Toyota. All the heat and, to some extent, hate, is only because it's got "Supra" written on it. The car community would be loving this idea if it was called anything else.
  8. Good old Northampton police, they pulled me over for doing 35 between the A45 and the roundabout before Caroline Chisholm school. Started talking to me like I was about to get penetrated without the courtesy of lube until I pointed out the speed limit there is 40mph. Apparently they had been up doing people by the school and failed to notice the 40 sign at the roundabout. Absolute wombles.
  9. This is hilarious, I've actually cancelled my $90 buy orders as I'm now absolutely certain we are going below 80 bucks for ETH.
  10. Except now we have a lot of people who (foolishly, in my opinion) bought in when it was hovering around $1000 and now they are sat on 10% of the value they put in. That's a huge amount of negativity and it will stop your average joe buying in, there is no external money buy pressure (like there was this time last year). It's a lot easier for it to collapse than it is to go parabolic again, particularly bearing in mind that this market is almost entirely speculation. I would not be surprised at all if we saw ETH down at $60 before this is over. That is an opportunity to make a lot of money in the next few years, anyone expecting a repeat of late last year any time soon is delusional. We may see a new all time high, but if we do, I reckon it will be in years. The days of making quick fortunes are over for now, just accumulate while it's cheap and wait. The best thing about this will be all the crap coins disappearing, so pick your projects carefully and keep a decent portion of your portfolio in the bigger players.
  11. Really? Why? I think we are reaching capitulation and when we finally do, it will take another dive.
  12. Eth, as mentioned in previous comments. I've got much bigger ones set at $70 and $55
  13. Looks like my $90 buy order isn't far from being filled!
  14. This will be very different. Crypto is almost entirely speculation, don't expect it to abide the stock market cycle in any rational way.
  15. If people are putting money into crypto based only on what they want to hear, they deserve to lose money. I've got my buy orders set, but I don't expect it to pay off until at least 2021.
  16. Last time it did this, it took 4 years to recover. I think we are approaching capitulation.
  17. Here we go! Just dropped like a stone again.
  18. Waiting for Eth to drop to $90 before buying any more. BTC will go below 4k, and when it does it will tank.
  19. It was two megalomaniacs going to war, resulting in selling a lot of bitcoin to fund buying hash rate power. I would wager that it's the main catalyst for this crash. I wouldn't buy anything yet, I would not be surprised if we see bitcoin at 3K.
  20. Looks like the Bitcoin Cash hash war is over. I'm on the fence as to whether this will recover once that's settled or if we've reached capitulation. I'll be buying a shit ton of ETH if it drops below $100.
  21. I was parked up on the other side of the road, saw you coming off the Mereway Tesco roundabout going down hill into town. Silver, didn't catch the reg. Exhaust sounded nice.
  22. I'll probably tentatively buy on the way down and dump a bigger amount when I'm a bit more sure it's hit a bottom. Technical analysis is going to be about as useless as it always is, this is the wild west and anything you throw in is straight up gambling.
  23. And I was wrong. Fortunately I've got 8k left in GBP in coinbase to buy more when it really does hit the bottom. If there is a short term bounce that might actually be more than enough to offset the loss from today. It's difficult though, as I started with £500 and cashed out £16k last December, so I'm a lot less careful than I should be.
